CHAPTER ELEVEN

This might be the happiest Anne has ever felt in over a decade.She laughed,joked and even cursed a few times today.After Rhoda told her that Daniel was fine,she asked her to sit with them at the backbench. Gossip is that its called the French Quarters,composed of the most influencial and powerful people in school. It was formed by four members to be exact. Daniel, Rommy, Rhoda and a sweet boy called Niklaus. Niklaus is the son of Mikael mikalson, famous F1 driver and Co founder of a tyre making company in New Orleans.He was also kinda new to the school and had developed closed relationship with Rommy so he was part of the group. After inviting her over they started chatting asking Anne this and that and they all had a good day. But amidst all the laughing and giggling(mostly Anne and Rhoda)they failed to notice Randy across the room and by the looks of things he is not happy.

Long ago he used to be part of the French Quarters. Back then they were only four Daniel, Rommy, Rhoda and him.They were inseparable but all things changed when Niklaus met Randys sister Rebecca. Niklaus started wooing Rebecca. Rebecca is two years younger than Randy and one class behind Randy. He disapproved of their relationship because well before he transfered Nik was known as a casanova in his old school. But all the others were approving of their relationship so he removed himself from the French Quarter and forbade Rebecca from seing Niklaus. Long story short Randy is no longer part of that group.

The bell rang and it was lunch time.Anne stood and headed to the cafeteria.After taking her food she was scanning for a place to sit when Niklaus grabbed her plate and signalled Anne to follow him. At the end corner of the large Hall was a table full of food of all kinds. From fruits to Juices to Salads to Fried chicken it was like a buffet,a really gorgeous one."From now on youre place is here.And also from now on don't stand in lines all the food you need is here and if there is something else you need you tell me so that we can add it in the menu."Niklaus said pointing to an empty seat.No one was there yet.She sat down but turned to Niklaus and asked"Why are you doing this again.I mean i was comfortable just sitting anywhere."

"Because Love this isnt just any table.It is where the members of the Frech Quarters sit and have our Lunch."Rhoda said coming to sit across her."Im gonna be honest with you. I like you new girl you are obviously smart and funny so i would like you to join us"She added,picking up a fried chicken.°Anne was so shocked. in all her years of learning she has never been a part of any group.She feared due to their shifting a lot joining a goup was hopeless.But here Rhoda was offering her a chance to be part of it.She was happy and frightened at the same time."Whats the cost of me joing this group of yours?Obviously it is for the wealthy and i clearly dont fit your calibre"she had to ask.Everything must come at a cost.

"No cost and no this is not for the wealthy.See we do this because we are best friends here.And we wanna share that bond with you,Anne. We are not spoiled brats who like to go on a spending spree,all this food is from the school.What you dont know is that Daniel Anderson is the most smart person in this school.So as long as he keeps his grades up,the school provides him with anything he wants.And before you say its abuse of power,Dani already has everythinv so he just does this so that the school board is happy"Rommy answered and the only word Anne heard was 'Daniel is the most smart person in school'.Well I mean if he is handsome he must be smart."So Anne will you join us?" Rhoda asked and Anne replied almost immediately"Yes of course.As long as no doing illegal stuffs"

"Gurramted"answered Rhoda with a smile.Truth was that they added her because Rhoda and Rommy have a plan.They want Anne and Dani to date. Before today they were observing Anne and they found out that Anne misses Dani.She always stares at the door every morning period or stares at his seat every class time.So maybe there are some chemistry between them.

"Since you are now part of the group,then you should be the first to get the invite."Nik said while the others just kept starring at him."I'm throwing a before-exam party at my house tonight.Its only a small gathering so you are all welcomed"Sure." "Count us in" All of them said except Anne.So they all turned to her."c'mon Anne its just a small party and no alcohol i promise""Sure i won't miss it"

They continued chatting and gossiping stories here and there,truth was that Anne was really enjoying herself.Even at her former school aside from lulu she never had any other friends. Why bother when u will transfer soon. But here,she already has five.Anne was having too much fun that she forgot about Randy who sitting at the other corner with vein nearly visible on hos head. he can't believe she joined them. She hasn't even finished a month and she's already a French Quarter.He has to do Something quick.

Day well spent perhaps. Anne had the best day. Apart from Nik trying to ask Helen to go to the party with him and Rommy and Rhoda making out in the Classroom, everything was just perfect.It was already time for her to head home when she ran into Randy in the corridor.

"Someone had too much fun that she totally forgot about me"Randy said coming beside her."OMG randy I'm soo sorry i forgot.I was so caught up that I didn't remember. Please forgive me I swear I'll make it up to you tomorrow."Anne said wearing an apologetic face. She really did forget and it wasn't until just now that she remembered. But Randy just knodded and escorted her to a black SUV parked outside the gate with the driver waiting.

"Anne I know its not my place but i should warn you stay away from Dani and Nik. They are not good people. Please just be careful okay"Randy said and Anne could see sincerity in his eyes.She just nodded and climbed into the car. Meanwhile Rommy and Rhoda were quitely observing them.

RHODA:Is Dani gonna be there?

ROMMY: He's not sure.

RHODA: what do u mean he's not sure.For our plan to work Dani has to be there tonight.

RHODA: Did u send am invitation Randy?

ROMMY:Of course. But i don't think he'd gonna come.

RHODA:Oh he will. By inviting Anne we managed to invite Randy as well. All we have to do is hope Dani makes it and our plan is set to action
