Chapter 8 Training

In a house in the Land of Water

Waking up Arata, Arata got up and stretched his body. He felt as if his body has gotten stronger. He checked his status immediately.

Arata saw that he did increase have an increase in strength. His strength increase by a lot as he felt the power coursing through him. Sure enough, life and death combat results in a large increase of strength.

Arata looked around himself and saw that Sasuke was not here but saw Naruto still sleeping while hugging his pillow. He heard voices outside the door and noticed that it was Sakura, Sasuke, Tazuna, and another person he did not recognize. He looked at Naruto and hit his head waking him up.

Arata: " Get up Naruto, let's go check on Kakashi sensei."

Naruto: " hmmm, huh... Kakashi sensei? Oh yeah, hurry up let's go"

Arata looked at how quick Naruto got up and ran out of the room and just shook his head. He got up and ready and soon left the room and followed after him.

They greeted Sakura, Sasuke, Tazuna, and the woman that was with them. Introduced themselves to the woman and quickly went to Kakashi.

When they entered the room where Kakashi stayed in, they saw that Kakashi was slowly got up.

Naruto: " Kakashi, are you okay?"

Kakashi: " Yeah, I'm fine, just a little exhausted. About Zabuza yesterday, I am pretty sure that he is still alive. The boy that showed up must've been part of the tracking unit of the Anbu Black Ops. They destroy all traces of a rogue ninja's corpse. If not then, a person could find out all about a village's techniques and secrets. It is the sacred duty of the Shinobi trackers to prevent this, to keep the village secrets safe. However, those shinobis deal with the body on the spot, however, this 'Abu' didn't he took the body away, which is why I'm thinking that Zabuza is still alive."

Naruto and Sakura: " Ehhh."

Sakura: " But didn't you check the body for a pulse."

Kakashi: " that's also true, but I'm pretty sure that those needles would be place so that it would only temporary stop his pulse."

Sakura: " Then, what should we do, even you were barely able to beat him with your sharingan."

Kakashi: " That's true, but during this time, I will train you guys in the meantime. During this battle, you guys at least have grown stronger, since at least you guys experienced a real shinobi fight."

???: " Training won't help"

Naruto: " Ehh, who are you."

Tazuna: " Oh Inari, you are back huh."

Inari: " I'm back grandpa."

Tsunami: "hey Inari, that was rude. These ninjas helped your grandpa and brought him here safely."

Inari: " But it's true, Gato and his men will come back and find them and wipe them out."

Naruto: " ahh, what the heck is with this kid. We are strong ninjas and are super heroes. Just you wait, this Gato or whatever is no match for a a real hero like me."

Inari: " hmph, there are no such thing as super heroes. Are you an idiot?"

Naruto was about to run forward but was held back by Sakura.

Inari: " If you want so stay alive, you better return from where you came from."

Inari walked out soon after.

Tazuna: " I'm sorry."

Naruto: " 'tch' I'll show him."

In a nearby forest.

Kakashi: " So for training we'll be doing some chakra training."

Naruto: " Eh, but we already know how to use chakra. We are already using chakra for ninjutsu."

Sasuke: " I'm with naruto with that. We are laready using chakra energy in our jutsu."

Kakashi: " No. You have not mastered this power. You've barely scratched the surface of it."

Naruto: " What, What do you mean?"

Kakashi: " Well. Calm down and listen. You have to use both physical energy and spiritual energy and balance it. Using just Chakra is just guessing to which property the jutsu belongs to. This is just a waste of chakra. Then you're out of chakra, and you can't fight at all."

Naruto: "... So how do we change that then."

Kakashi: " Train so hard that controlling your chakra becomes second nature. To achieve this goal, you must be ready to put your life on the line."

Sakura: " What do we have to do?"

Kakashi point to the sky, " Hehehe. Climb a tree."

Everyone: " Climb a tree."

Kakashi: " Yes. Put there is only one rule, no hands when climbing on the tree."

Sakura: " Eh? what? You're kidding."

Kakashi then used a hand signal to concentrate chakra and started walking up a tree.

Naruto: " Eh, he is doing it."

He looked at where his foot landed and saw that it caved in. Seems like he needs to control his chakra better. If he used too much chakra then it will give him a boost at first but he was unable to keep going higher as he was pushed off the tree.

'bang' Naruto took his first step and just fell straight down. Arata looked at Naruto and decided that he doesn't want to look like that and close his eyes and concentrated. Then he suddenly looked and saw Sakura standing up high on a tree branch.

Sakura: " Hey this is pretty easy."

Kakashi: " Ohh, looks like the female ninja has the most advanced chakra control. Well done Sakura."

Sakura: " hehe."

Naruto: " Yea, way to go , Sakura."

Sasuke: " 'tch' Whatever."

Sakura saw Sasuke's reaction and thought, " I thought Sasuke would be impressed of me. Why is it always like that?"

Kakashi: "Well it seems like the other day, someone was boasting about being Hokage, but it may seem like Sakura is more suited for that role. As for the Uchiha clan and Senju clan, maybe they're not so great after all."

Sakura: " Shut up sensei. You talk too much." "Sasuke's gonna hate me now!"

Arata got annoyed by Kakashi's statement. Who's this Sakura when she couldn't even make a move against Zabuza.

The three of them look at each other, determined to achieve higher than the other, not willing to admit that one is better than them.

If Arata could master this, then he would be able to use more jutsus and for a longer period of time too. Arata quickly calmed down his thoughts and started focusing on controlling his chakra.

Naruto: " Yosh, First I'll match Sasuke and Arata and then I'm going to climb all the way to the top."

In just half a day, Arata was already getting higher and higher. He was already almost high up to the tree branch. His control over chakra was getting more and more precise.

A few more tries later and he finally reached as high as Sakura.

Arata: " Got it."

However, Arata did not stop. He wanted to do it by not having a running start. He walked up to the front of the tree trunk and placed his foot on it. He walked up with slow speed, adjusting the amount of chakra to add and pushing his endurance to the limit. As he was concentrating, he looked and saw that he already reached the spot he had before.

When Naruto and Sasuke saw that Arata reached it before them, they grew even more determined.

Arata stopped at the large tree branch and sat down and looked at them, even though they reached higher in this short period of time, it was barely half of his marked tree.

Arata: " Looks like the Senju clan is better than the Uchiha after all, haha."

Sasuke: " 'tch'"
