Chapter 39 Confrontation

Tsubaki looked at Masamune. 

She felt that he had something to do with the money that disappeared from the ATMs and the bank.

And what led her to think like that? It's because she saw him everywhere on the CCTV when the money disappeared.

Even though she didn't know how he could do it. And there was no evidence to tie him up.

But she believed in her ability to see through something that ordinary people cannot.

She, who was standing in front of the suspect now, could feel that. Although he was just a teenager and had a pretty good appearance, he had a dangerous aura around him. 

She felt that if they really fought, she might lose if she wasn't careful.

A few hours ago, she found something very odd. She saw a young boy on the surveillance camera who appeared almost everywhere where money was stolen. She looked at the boy on the surveillance camera; it was the look in his eyes, his expression, and his demeanor that made her suspicious.

He was definitely not an ordinary young man. And to prove it, she followed him. until arriving at this coffee shop before walking over and asking him directly to see how he would react.

Masamune, meanwhile, looked at the woman with a cold expression. She seemed to be testing him. 

Masamune thought that she was saying this in front of him because she wanted to look at his expression and reaction.

Masamune was fortunate to have been through this situation before. It can be said that almost every day, he had to pretend and lie. It was his normal job. Therefore, the beautiful female police officer of today will never get any information from him. She still lacks experience. If he really had to say

"Where is the evidence? Show it to me. I really don't have time, you know."

How could she prove that he could steal money without touching it? How could she prove that the money disappeared and went to his storage dimension?

It can't be proven. If no one caught him red-handed, no one could do anything to him. And one more thing, This would be the last time he robbed a bank. He had enough money to complete his plan, after all.

Tsubaki smirked a little before taking out the pictures from her pocket. and placed it on the table in front of Masamune and Tohru. Tohru didn't understand what was going on but still looked at her boss.

Masamune saw that every picture had his own image on it. He looked at it before smiling.

"Can I have this picture? It was taken from a good angle and in good light too."

Masamune looked at Tsubaki, whose face was now even colder. She spoke with an emotionless voice.

"Why did you show up everywhere where the money disappeared? Answer me."

Masamune shrugged before speaking up.

"Just walking around. Is it a problem to take a walk from time to time?"

"Then why do you have to touch the ATM with your hand every time?"

"I just want to touch it. It was smooth and soothing."

Tsubaki gritted her teeth as he got to her nerves. She looked at him carefully.

He was able to speak in front of her without feeling the pressure she exuded from her body. 

It was as if he was already used to meeting someone like her.

Not many were able to bear her pressure.

"Can I have this picture, please?"
