Chapter Thirty-One: I'll Roundhouse Kick 'Em (Kasumi)
These aren't ice skates; they're knife-shoes now!
Kasumi sits in front of Anastasia, making a mini snowman with a small pile of snow the teenage girl summoned. Meanwhile, Leon and Engelard are trying their hand at ice-skating, and by the sounds of Engelard's hysterical laughter, Leon is not fairing very well.
Nicholas and Reko are making a mural on the ground out of flower petals not far from Kasumi and Anastasia. Nicholas summons a flower, and Reko cuts the petals off and into different shapes to fit into the mural. Kasumi hopes the two will show the rest of the group their work once it is finished.
The group decided they wanted to do something fun or relaxing to take their minds off of what they already experienced on their journey, and what was yet to come. Kasumi could not help but smile and giggle every now and then, enjoying her time with the new friends she made. And though her jealousy of Anastasia still lingered, it was not as prevalent as it was earlier.
