Chapter Thirty-Four: A Promise, Fulfilled (Felix)
I am not afraid to die in order to protect this country I hold so close to my heart.
Felix looks over the plans of what he hopes will guarantee this war will end. He has tailored this plan to fit each person's ability perfectly and was happy to see Anastasia beside Reko when he traveled to the outskirts of Geneva with the boy in the afternoon.
Now he stands atop a small rolling hill, watching as the soldiers from Deutschland file in neat columns not far from the small group which stands looking out at the sinking sun on the horizon. Grayson, Thilo, and what Felix knows to be his own soldiers will be emerging on the hill straight across from him soon, and he runs over the plan one last time with everyone for good measure.
