Artemis hovers at the entrance, her eyes narrowing as she surveys the rows upon rows of wards meticulously carved into the face of the stone wall. Each rune, inscribed with precision, is meant to contain and imprison. Her gaze, sharp and practiced, scans the intricate symbols with ease, her lips curling into a smirk as she recognizes the handiwork of her former husband. 

The spell was designed to keep one inside, to prevent escape.

With a sense of grim satisfaction, Artemis raises her hand, dark magic crackling at her fingertips. She channels her power into the wards, feeling them crumple under her assault. The runes, once vibrant with protective magic, now flicker and fade, their strength. With a final surge of energy, she tears the enchantments apart, the stone wall trembling as the ancient magic is unraveled.
