The chief technician slouches realizing that he is correct, he looks over the hologram and
zooms in on different sections along the ships hull a few times and then the linguistics
officer says to stop, he does so watches her tap at the console and the hologram zooms in
on a section and there is a door shape.
She looks around, saying: if there is a way in, then that is it. We all know how doors,
whether they are internal or they lead to an exit are thinner than hangar doors but they
often are sectioned off incase they are stuck open thus preventing air to leave the ship.
The captain stands up and the bridge crew turning to look, he announces that they will
send in a droid, if everything is safe they will send in some people, but that is only if the
droid reports nothing aboard that ship, if it can even board it.
His command crew looks around at each other and with that they agree this is the best
course of action for the situation at hand.
He tells them to contact the hanger team and have them send out one of the droids that's equipped for boarding ships. As they watch from the monitors the perspective of the droid they watch it reach that "door" and as it reaches up with the cutting tool, a white outline around the door appears and it pulls inside and lifts up and out of the way.
The crew on the ship look around at each other and then to the captain who says to
proceed inside. The droid continues in, the door lowering down behind it and sealing
shut, the tech officer notes how the door does so and that it's a different method then
what humans had used on this ships.
