I closed my eyes, also not knowing what to do. My whole head and upper body felt hot, yet my ears were cold.

She probably raised herself up as I felt the cushion on the sides on my head lose its weight as the foam bounced back up.

I opened my eyes and saw Lily already turned back, and as if she felt my eyes on her, she glanced towards me as she turned to the side, before I heard her say a few words before she left.

Clueless, I only scratched my head before the sound of the door slamming by itself made me jump a few inches in the air.

I took off my shoes and my other things before laying down in bed.

The scenes of the events regarding her revelations kept replaying inside my mind and I couldn't sleep within an hour, before I focused on how soft the bed was before finally falling asleep.
