"Fight!"

'Alright, now let's focus on this fight... what is Izuna going to do first? Attack me directly with taijutsu? Try to put me under genjutsu? Maybe even use ninjutsu?'

As Itachi was thinking, Izuna closed his eyes and weaved some signs.

When he reopened them, they were red with the three black tomoe on them.

"Katon: Goukakyuu no Jutsu!"

A massive fireball was heading towards Itachi, who, in response, used a water style jutsu to cancel the attack.

The fire turned the water to mist.

'So it was ninjutsu then! Well, now I know he is serious about this fight. Using such a jutsu so quickly into the battle... What is he going to-'

Before Itachi could even realize, Izuna jumped through the mist, dashing right at him with his fist forward.

Itachi blocked, but was continuously attacked with punches and kicks.

Dodging and blocking, he slowly walked backwards.

He was overwhelmed by the speed of the attacks

After a long series of blows, Izuna thought it's time to end it so he spun around, kicking Itachi in the chest, sending him back three meters.

When he got back up, Itachi couldn't see Izuna anywhere.

Then, he was grabbed by the neck from behind and shoved into the ground.

After he got back up, Izuna was gone again, and after a few seconds, he was again attacked. This time, a kick coming from below hit him straight in the chin.

"Itachi... you are no match. You will never defeat me. You will never surpass me. You will never 'bring' me back." Izuna said, before appearing in front of Itachi and punching him straight in the face.

"Give up. I believe this is over. You can barely even get up, there is no point in fighting anymore. After all, you don't even compare to Shisui."

Izuna then looked at Itachi, who was struggling to get back up. He walked towards him but then, when Itachi raised his head to look at Izuna, something shocked him.

Itachi awakened the Sharingan! He had one tomoe in each eye, but it was still a Sharingan!

"Izuna! I swear I will become stronger! I will end this hatred of yours, and I will stop hatred from ever reappearing! How can I save the shinobi world from conflict if I can not help even you?!"

Fugaku, noticing the sudden change in Itachi's eyes stopped the fight.

"Enough! Izuna, you won." he said, helping Itachi back up.

"Well, I guess I'll go home now."

Fugaku looked at the departing Izuna.

'Itachi is one of the greatest prodigies of the Uchiha clan. I have personally trained him and noticed the immense skill he has, but Izuna... managed to absolutely destroy him in this spar...'
