Samuel found Regina to be harsh with her response. Couldn't she have at least lied to make him feel less guilty? She said it was so nonchalant like she was upset with him but he'll remind her each time that she was right there next to him when they both betrayed Aurora. "What you did might hurt Aurora even more, right? There's nothing more upsetting than a sister bond being broken or so I've heard."
Regina squinted her eyes and released a dry laugh. Was he trying to make himself feel less guilty by pushing more blame onto her? If only she could expose to him that she didn't betray Aurora so easily as he did. "I don't know about that Samuel. I'll be pretty hurt if my older brother stabbed me in the back. We don't say it much but girls look to their older brothers for protection. If you fail us or father fails us, it's hard to put faith in any other man."
