"Pardon me if this might be rude for saying this but you weren't in your room when I came to say goodbye last night. Did you and Vincent go to the festival or did you sleep somewhere else?" Mari inquired while she did Aurora's hair. She was surprised when Aurora hadn't answered her calls from the bedroom door even though someone told her Vincent had taken Aurora upstairs.
"It's not what you think. He took me to an attic window so that I could watch the festival last night. I ended up falling asleep in his room and he took me to a guest room to sleep instead of waking me up. Did you attend the festival after you left?" Aurora asked in an effort to switch the subject. She was eating her breakfast while Mari did her hair in her bedroom since Vincent had left the home and Aurora did not want to eat alone at the large table.
