"How on earth did our family steal this last name and this property but no one around batted an eye? How did no one realize that the people who once lived here had changed?" Regina didn't see how it would be easy for anyone to steal someone's life and no one around mentioned the change. Weren't they curious about what happened to the real Hamiltons they knew?
"It was a well thought out plan of killing any close relatives to the Hamiltons up until they finally killed the ones who used to live here. We claimed to be distant relatives who would be taking over the fallen house and we had some connections to forge some documents to make everything look real. The papers said the killers had never been found but they were here all along. I was told this by my father when I became a certain age."
"When was anyone going to mention it to us? This is ridiculous honestly. Minnie had to have known right? And my father maybe?" Regina asked.
