Silence... As soon as Lynn finished speaking, the fiery space suddenly fell into a strange stillness.

Both Magneto and Mystique looked dumbfounded. They even thought they were hallucinating.

"You..."

Magneto stared blankly at Lynn, taking a long time to react. He sneered and said, "You're asking me to be the vice-principal of Xavier's Academy? Are you joking?"

It was no wonder he didn't believe it. Lynn's words were simply too ridiculous! Who was he? Magneto! The leader of the Brotherhood of Mutants! A nemesis the X-Men had been fighting for decades.

How could it be possible for him to go to Xavier's Academy... that mutant kindergarten he despised... as the vice-principal?

"Do you think this is a dream?!"

Mystique looked at Lynn as if he were a fool, the fear that had momentarily surfaced due to Lynn's incredible strength now vanished.

She couldn't come up with any other explanation for such an invitation except that he had lost his mind!

It was a joke, a complete joke.

"I know you don't believe it, but... what's so absurd about it?"

Lynn smiled, unfazed by their reaction.

He looked at Magneto with sincerity in his eyes. "Xavier's Academy needs top-quality professors, and you are one of the most exceptional mutants in the world. The mutant factions under your leadership are also composed of elites. So, I'm offering you this position... Is there something wrong with that?"

Every word and sentence carried conviction. There was no hint of joking.

"Are you serious?"

Magneto's expression finally changed from a sneer to astonishment, and then to a slight solemnity.

As the leader of the Mutant Brotherhood, he was undeniably one of the most intelligent and capable mutants in the world. But at this moment, he found himself unable to comprehend Lynn's thought process at all.

He even began to question his own relevance. Were young people today truly this formidable?

Recalling the news brought by Mystique, he wasn't surprised that Xavier's Academy planned to open its doors to enrollment. After all, the recent actions of the X-Men made it clear that they no longer intended to hide.

Yet, even so, he couldn't help but ask, "The enrollment you mentioned... is it the kind that reveals our existence to the world, allowing mutants of the appropriate age to openly enroll?"

"That's correct!"

Lynn nodded slightly.

Magneto locked his gaze on Lynn. "So, you're asking me to be the vice-principal, which means Charles will remain the principal? The other X-Men will still serve as professors at the academy?"

"Naturally."

Lynn responded decisively.

A smirk formed on the corner of Magneto's mouth. "Don't you know the conflicts between me and Charles, between the Mutant Brotherhood and the X-Men?!"

"So what?"

Lynn brushed it off. "I'm inviting you to teach students, not to resolve conflicts."

With those words, Magneto's pupils suddenly contracted. An unbelievable idea sprouted in his mind.

"Are you just seeking to check and balance the X-Men? Worried that Charles holds all the power in the academy?! You want to share his authority?!"

He thought he had figured out Lynn's plan, but after the shock subsided, he couldn't help but admire Lynn's methods and courage.

But he didn't expect... Lynn furrowed his brows upon hearing this, looking at Magneto speechlessly.

"As the leader of the Mutant Brotherhood, can't you think on a larger scale? Aren't you dedicated to changing the plight of mutants? Why is your mind filled with convoluted conspiracies?"

Lynn couldn't hide his disappointment as he spoke. "Mutants are on the brink of extinction. To reverse the situation, we must unite all the forces that can be united, especially the Mutant Brotherhood and the X-Men. As a group of mutants, you should work together sincerely..."

"Do you not understand such a simple truth? No wonder you've wasted half of your life without achieving anything!"

Magneto never imagined that one day he would be lectured by Professor X's students. Each word felt like a needle, hitting the nail on the head.

It directly negated all of his efforts in the first half of his life!

His mentality reached its breaking point!

"Ha! I may have failed in the first half of my life, but do you think you will succeed?"

Feeling ashamed and annoyed, Magneto stared straight at Lynn. "I don't deny that your methods are somewhat unexpected, but do you truly believe that turning public opinion against mutants will make humans forget the threat we pose?"

"Believe it or not, Xavier's Academy is now open for enrollment, and tomorrow, the human army will storm the manor!"

His statement was resolute and unwavering.

In the face of his mocking gaze, Lynn smiled faintly.

"You may not know this, but Xavier's Manor has changed its location. The human army won't be able to find it even if they try to rush in... And when it resurfaces, it will be an unstoppable force!"

Constrained by limited information, Magneto couldn't grasp the meaning behind Lynn's words.

All he could do was sneer in response. "If that's the case, why are you asking me to be the vice-principal?"

"It's quite simple..."

Lynn spoke lightly. "Although Professor Charles is a highly respected elder, he can't be considered an excellent principal. His educational philosophy is too lenient, focusing only on nurturing elites instead of fighters. In that regard, Magneto, you hold more authority, sir..."

"And Xavier's Academy needs both elites and fighters!"

As everyone knows, a Hogwarts with only Dumbledore as the headmaster has no future. It also needs a Grindelwald.

In a way, Magneto and Professor X were the Dumbledore and Grindelwald of this world, locked in conflict and doing nothing for the mutant community.

But if their ideologies could blend and collide within Xavier's Academy... the growth of the students would be immeasurable.

Lynn understood very well that the students of Xavier's Academy couldn't be taught to be mere sheep, nor could they be trained as warmongers. A combination of kindness and formidable methods was what the mutant community truly needed!

And on that foundation, they could learn all kinds of knowledge and enhance various skills to survive in human society.

For this reason, Lynn had even discovered... the third principal.
