With the trailer falling through the roof over and onto the machinery and chemicals stored in the building, Iron Man crashed in through the bay doors. He made sure to take the whole door down so anyone that was willing to run had the chance to do so.
Tony fired his repulsers from his gloves towards the tables and stockpiles of drugs in the area. Several of the guards opened fire on him but that had no effect on his armor. Lowering the output, he then started to fire shots at those carrying guns until they dropped them and ran from the building.
"The temperature in the building has reached the minimum needed to vapor off the chemicals in safety Sir, job well done."
"Why the pep talk Jarvis? It worries me when you are complimenting me. Do I need to run a diagnostic?"
"No sir, I am attempting to try positive reinforcement. By my count, it has been nearly 24 hours since you have tumbled a woman into your bed or had your picture taken by paparazzi in a compromising position. If you had not found our host's liquor cabinet this morning I would in turn, be the one worrying that a clone had put the armor on again."
"Good talk buddy, let's get out of here and see what the voluptuous Amazon is doing."
-(Outside)-
Having been knocked down by the explosion, a young brown-haired woman wearing the uniform of the traditional Roman female Gladiator complete with a red cape stood up and looked around. Seeing the flying figure of Wonder Woman, she took hold of her spear and flew at her to initiate combat.
Ororo saw the young girl charge her with a weapon in hand and simply waited for her to make the first move. Gladiatrix led with a downward stab of her short spear that Ororo evaded by griping the woman's forearm and overpowering her. Ororo followed up with a solid right punch, only to have it brushed aside by a simple slap to the back of her fist from her opponent.
Gladiatrix then tried to cut Wonder Woman's chest by dragging her spearhead along the front of her outfit, but Ororo pulled back in time to evade. Gladiatrix again tried to stab Ororo with another downward stab from her spear, only to have her evade to the side.
Having put too much strength into the last swing with her spear, Gladiatrix left herself wide open and Wonder Woman took full advantage with an overhand right that crushed the nose of the warrior in front of her and pushed her back in the air.
Ororo was proud to have delivered such a blow, but she was caught unaware as Gladiatrix used the momentum from the blow to spin around and kick her directly in the side of the head. Ororo was stunned for a moment when she remembered a gruff voice telling her "Feel the pain later, you don't have time for that in a real fight!!!"
Wonder Woman cleared her head just in time to see her opponent rush her yet again with her spear in a downward stabbing motion like it was a dagger and not a short spear. Ororo again grabbed the girl's wrist and turned it so that the pointed end of the spear was turned away from her and then slipped behind her with her other arm trying to get a good chokehold on the warrior.
However, Gladiatrix moved her wrist enough that the but of her short spear was pointed at Ororo's forehead and suddenly the short spear lengthened to a long spear and slammed into Wonder Woman's head forcing her to let the chokehold go.
Stunned for a moment, Ororo could not react to the follow-up attack of the spear as it hit her again. In the back of her head this time, Gladiatrix then reached out and grabbed as much of the wonderful white hair as she could and then used it to hurl Ororo to the ground. Once she hit the ground, Ororo slid for a moment until her back hit the wall of the building.
It just so happened that Iron Man was walking out of the building at the moment Ororo collided with the wall. Tony quickly moved toward Wonder Woman in concern when she held out her hand to stop him.
"Diana better not hear of this Tony." She looked up with rage and addressed Gladiatrix.
Ororo's eyes went full white, "You wanna hit people with metal poles now do you? That's going to cost you."
Gladiatrix felt the hairs on the back of her neck rise up and attributed it to the battle this foolish woman was going to continue. Before she knew it though, a crack of thunder was heard just before a bolt of lightning traveled down her metal spear and exploded into her. She fell to the ground unconscious and her spear was partially melted in her hand, the rest of her body was smoking.
Seeing the results of an upset Ororo he says, "I promise Diana won't hear a thing about this from me."
Standing up and returning to the air, the still irritated figure of Wonder Woman says, "Good, then I won't have to do that to you."
Tony watched her fly up, "You heard her Jarvis, remove the sound from the video we send to Wonder Girl once we get back."
"As trustworthy as ever sir."
"To the letter Jarvis, to the letter. What say we come up with a way to absorb lightning and use it in the weapon systems?"
"It does seem a prudent course of action, sir. I will start on it right away."
Iron Man then flies after Wonder Woman, their job done.
Unknown to both of them, a small, camouflaged drone is sending the video of the fight back to a figure in red and silver armor.
-(Metropolis)-
Two figures fly next to each other above the city buildings, moving fast enough to leave streaks of color, one Gold and the other Red. As Lex in his gold armor and Superman in his blue outfit and red cape come to a stop in front of the most lavish looking building in the city. Pedestrians look on in shock just before they realize it was time to abandon the street, nothing good ever comes of bystanders to scenes like this.
"Ultraman, I know you can hear me. Bring your arrogant ass out here or I'll come in there and get you."
Moments later, two sliding glass doors open to reveal a very large and muscular figure with red hair and suspenders over a white shirt holding up a pair of green pants. He walked out with swagger and stared challengingly at both Superman and Lex.
"Not looking for the hired help, Olson. I want your boss, not a warmup."
"Boss ain't here. If you want an appointment, you can call his secretary. Clear our airspace."
"Make me."
A large grin makes its way onto Jimmy's face, "I can do that."
Superman was a bit surprised to see Jimmy lift off the ground and fly towards them. In fact, he felt a strange Kryptonian vibe from this Jimmy Olson. It was weak, but there none the less.
His musings were interrupted when Lex turned to him, "You take care of Ultraman's pal, I got the big guy."
Olsen ignored the words and mustered all his strength in a punch directed toward this constant pain in the boss's ass Luthor. {Just need to connect and the boss will be rid of this flea.}
Just as Olsen was about to connect with Luthor's face, Superman reached out his hand and stopped the punch dead. Jimmy was beyond surprised, {Not even the boss can make it look this effortless.}
"I'd rather not have to hurt you, Jimmy."
To hide his surprise, Jimmy threw a follow-up punch with his other hand that was easily dodged. Superman simply turned Jimmy and held him from behind making his struggle useless. Luthor reached out and manipulated the watch Jimmy wore. With a twist and a push, it emitted a sound at a level few could hear on this planet, one was Ultraman.
"That ought to get his attention."
Superman looked at Lex again, "You sure you want to do this? I can take him." He said with conviction in his voice.
Lex looked at him with just as much conviction in his tone, "If it's going to mean anything after you're gone, it has to be me."
They were interrupted in their discussion by something moving towards them at such high speed that as it passed buildings, the glass shattered due to the force. Within seconds of hearing this, Ultraman was floating before them.
"Get your hands off my boy!"
