Rayam went out because he wanted to find some ice pack. A few moments later he came back to the room, and he bought an ice pack with him. He knelt before her, taking her hurting leg in his hand delicately. Then he undid the bandage on her leg and put the ice pack on the small swelling. After a few minutes, he bandaged her leg carefully. He insisted on waiting for her friends to arrive. While they were waiting for her friends Maayi asked him.

"How did you find out that I am here?"

Rayam thought back to the incidents that happened back there that when he came to the class after lunch.

He spotted Maayi's seat vacant and his eyes automatically searched her friends and saw them coming back to class and went to their seats right away. That is when he saw Tan coming in his direction. Tan was his best friend, and he is also friends with everyone in the class.

"Hey Tan, can you find where Maayi went?"

"Why are you searching for Maayi, Rayam?" Tan asked in doubt.

But Rayam ignored his question and said.

"Her friends are in their seats. Go and ask them, Tan."

Tan shrugged and went to them.

"Hey guys, where is Maayi? Why are you two here, and she is not here?" He asked.

"Maayi had a small accident, she fell from stairs when she comes to have lunch, so we took her to the University Hospital."

Suthomi said to Tan.

"What? How did she fell from the stairs? How is she now? Is she alright?" Tan asked anxiously.

"No need to worry, the doctor said she will be alright after some rest."

Yaami reassured him.

Tan went back to Rayam then asked him again in a more serious tone.

"You didn't answer my question, Rayam. Why are you searching for her?"

"Even I don't know it, Tan." He answered.

Tan was slightly surprised, but he still told Rayam what he heard from Yaami and Suthomi.

"If someone asks where am I, then tell them you don't know."

Rayam said to him before he went out.

Since he knew Maayi didn't have lunch, so he bought some food for her and went to see her in the Tokyo Medical School, the University Hospital.

"Hey Rayam, why are you not answering my question? Maayi asked and broke Rayam's chain of thoughts.

That is when he heard voices on the corridor then he said to Maayi.

"Your friends are here, so I am leaving now. Take care of yourself, Maayi."

He left the room through the door on the other side at the same time her friends entered the room. So Yaami and Suthomi didn't see him leaving the room. They helped Maayi to get home safely.

The next day she went to the hospital for another check-up with her parents, so she didn't go to college. The day went very slowly, she felt like time is not even moving forward.

At the same time, Rayam came to the college as usual, and he knew that Maayi will be absent for the day because of her sprained ankle. He was feeling very gloomy in the class. Somehow he spent the first hour. Nothing was interesting to him, and he wanted to see Maayi and spend time with her. Everything was boring for him.

It was a new experience for him. He always sat alone but today it felt different. It's only been one day he started to sit with her. But it feels like it was forever. Why does he feel this way? He thought to himself. His friends noticed his changes, and they didn't understand what caused this change, so they decided to ask him about it. They pushed Tan towards Rayam to talk to him.

"Rayam, what happened to you? Why are you so indifferent today? I have never seen you like this. Is there something bothering you? Come on man, tell your best friend. You know I am here for you." Tan told him.

"I am not feeling well, Tan. I am going to the University Hospital to get some rest." He said and went out of the class.

When he was alone in the room where Maayi was in last day, he lay down on the same bed where Maayi laid and started to think about his feelings. He never had these types of complicated feelings. Even he doesn't understand what he is feeling and why he has been feeling them? After a long time of thinking, he finally understood what his feelings are? He was missing Maayi San so much that it reflected on him, and he couldn't hide it anymore.

At first, he thought it was just something that made a little interest in him, That is why he started to tease her lightly but now thinking back made him realize that the roots of this interest are deeper than he thinks. These complicated feelings started to appear after he first encountered Maayi San. He understood that the source of those feelings are Maayi and decided to try to solve it and experience those unexplainable feelings.

Rayam thought through everything he has been experiencing and time flew by without his knowing. It was already lunch break and not seeing Rayam back made Sana unsettle. So she went to Tan and asked him.

"Tan, have you seen Rayam? I am worried about him. If you know where he is, can you please let me know about it?"

"Oh Sana, Rayam was not feeling well, so he went to the University Hospital."

Tan replied. Sana thanked Tan and went to see Rayam. When she reached where Rayam was she saw him laying on a bed and his eyes were closed. She went near him unhurriedly and sat beside him without making any noise thinking he is asleep. But he was not asleep, so he opened his eyes when he became aware of someone sitting beside him on the bed.

Sana stood from the bed and said.

"Sorry, did I wake you?"

Rayam sat up and said.

"No, I wasn't sleeping."

"Rayam, what happened to you? Are you not well? When I didn't see you in the class I was worried." She said and Rayam could feel the concern from her voice.

"Don't worry Sana I am alright. The class was very tiring, that is why I came here." He said softly so that she can be relieved from the worry.

She spent some time with him and went back to class after Rayam said her to go back. When Sana came back her friends asked her about where she went and what happened? She told them everything.

"What happened to Rayam? Why is he acting like this?" One of her friends asked.

"I don't know. I have never seen him like this." Sana replied with a slight sorrow.

"Hey, guys haven't you noticed something else? Maayi San is absent today. Maybe that is why Rayam is in this state?" Another one of Sana's friends said as a joke but Sana didn't like it and it made her fuming in anger.

"SHUT UP"

Sana said in an ear-piercing voice which made that girl stop talking. She rushed out of the class. But the words played in her ears, and she thought about it. After the deep thinking, even Sana doubted the same and said to herself.

"Is Maayi San's absence the real reason behind Rayam's current changes?"

Time passed and the night came, Maayi got a call from an unknown number on her phone. At first, she ignored it, but the call came again and it is from the same unknown number, so she decided to pick up the call.

"Hello"
