Rayam noticed Maayi coming so his attention was completely concentrated on her than Sana. He didn't hear what Sana said and Sana noticed it.

Maayi didn't notice Rayam and Sana, so she took their bags and went out.

"Rayam, have you heard anything I said right now? Where is your attention?" Sana asked trying hard to not become angry.

Rayam didn't give a reply. So she decided to ask about Maayi San.

"Sorry Sana, can we talk later. I have something to do." Rayam said and ran towards the direction Maayi went.

Sana looked through the window and a few minutes later she saw Rayam walking behind Maayi and her friends at a distance while smiling like he saw something very special. Seeing him going after Maayi while telling her that he has to do something and avoiding her made Sana infuriated.

The second day of Spring fest was also started similarly but without any boring speeches. Suthomi and Yaami went for their competition while Maayi went to her teammates for the fashion show competition. Yaami was very happy because of the events that happened on the first day of the fest. She was feeling very positive and it clearly showed in her performance as well.

Meanwhile, Maayi was very nervous about the competition. But when the time came, they presented the gown on the ramp elegantly. Rayam was watching Maayi from a distance the whole day. At the end of the second day, they announced the winners for the different competitions and Maayi San's team got first place in the fashion show competition even though it was a very tough competition.

At last, the hectic day is over and Maayi San, Yaami, and Suthomi were walking home while chatting about the things that happened in the day. They talked about Rayam at some point and concluded that Maayi should thank him properly for bringing back her favorite stud. It was the start of the weekend the next day, so she decided to thank him on Monday personally.

She thought of different ways to thank him but couldn't find a better way to express her thanks. She became very confused but eventually on Sunday night she decided to give something he ask to thank him properly.

On Monday morning, the classroom was all filled with students when Maayi San arrived in the class, so Maayi San didn't get a chance to talk to Rayam properly. After half an hour or so, the class tutor came and announced that they have a seating rearrangement.

The process of seating arrangement was done by taking a seat number from the box having the seat numbers written on a small piece of paper which is placed on the teaching stand. Everyone will choose a piece of paper from the box and then the number written on the paper they chose will be their seat number. The classroom was divided into three columns of desks and there will be two people sharing a desk.

The students started to pick the paper from the box and moved to their designated seats. After a while, it was Maayi San's turn to choose the seat number. So she went and took a piece of paper from the box and saw that it is number nineteen. It was the seat near the window. She sat there and looked out of the window. She was enjoying the view and thus she started to like her seat. All of a sudden, she felt someone sitting beside her, out of curiosity to find who could that be she turned her head to look who is her desk mate. She was surprised to see Rayam sitting beside her, and she couldn't take her eyes off of him. Her heartbeat increased unimaginably. She feared if someone could hear it or not, but more importantly, she feared if Rayam could hear it.

Rayam looked at her sensing her eyes on him and said.

"Is there a problem?"

That's when she realized that she was staring at him for too long. She looked down at her lap in the next instant and said.

"No... nothing..."

His seat number was twenty. Her friends and his friends looked at each other. They were both surprised but confused at the same time. Not only their friends but also the entire class was surprised to see Rayam taking the seat beside someone. Rayam never sat with anyone, he never liked to share the seat with anyone. He always chooses to sit alone, so he never took part in any seating rearrangement and the teacher allowed it too. But today he took part in it and just sat beside Maayi San like it was nothing which made the whole class and even the teacher become shocked.

Maayi doesn't like all the attention she is getting just because Rayam sitting beside her. Immediately she knew that she has become the target for no reason at all. Later everyone started to do their things, but she felt someone was staring at her still like she is a target. She sensed the direction of the stare and saw Sana fuming in anger. Sana didn't avert her eyes even after her eyes locked with Maayi.

Till lunch break, Sana has been staring at Maayi once in a while in anger and jealousy. Those who saw Sana knew that she is going to do something to make Maayi leave the seat. When it became the time for lunch, everyone started to go to the canteen for lunch and then Sana came near Maayi with her friends, seeing this scene the rest of the students who were about to leave the classroom waited to watch what is going to happen because there was a rumor about Sana and Rayam's relationship. Everyone believed it even though they knew they are not official couples because of Rayam's attitude towards Sana.

"I want you to change seat with you."

Sana said.

Maayi thought about it for a while. She didn't want to make any enemies just because she is Rayam's desk mate. So she decided to change her seat with Sana without creating a scene. But before she could say anything someone spoke.

"I don't want to share my desk with you, Sana."

The owner of the voice was Rayam and when Sana heard his words her expression changed slightly. She never thought that Rayam would defend Maayi and embarrass her in front of the class, so she left with her friends without saying anything and making the situation even worse.

From her expression itself, Maayi knew Sana didn't like how Rayam defended Maayi San in front of the whole class. Rayam also left for the canteen. Suthomi and Yaami were worried to see the scene, so they went to Maayi San to make sure she is alright.

"Maayi, are you alright?" Suthomi asked out of concern.

"What was that all about?"Yaami asked.

"I don't know. I am not sure what happened now, but I guess I won't be having a normal college life from now on." Maayi said to her friends, and they decided to go to the canteen.

Then they went out of the class to have lunch. That is when, Naho, a classmate of Maayi San, came to her to give back Maayi San's notes given to her to copy. She asked Suthomi and Yaami to go first and wait for her downstairs in front of the canteen and went back to the classroom to keep the notes in her bag.

After keeping the notes in her bag, Maayi came out and went straight to the stairs leading to the canteen, then she felt someone is following her. She started to slow down then stopped and turned to look for confirming that someone is following her or not, but when she looked back no-one was there. She started to walk towards the stairs again, but still, she sensed someone is sneaking up on her. So she started to walk faster this time to avoid any danger. When she reached the stairs, someone pushed her down the stairs, and she fell two flights of stairs.

She couldn't see who it was. But fortunately, she fell right in front of her friends who were worried about her when Maayi didn't come to the canteen for a long time. They were going back to look for Maayi San, that is when she fell in front of them.

Both of them were scared to see her falling. So even they didn't understand it was someone who pushed her down. Maayi couldn't say it to them seeing how panicked her friends are, so she tried to look up to see who did it. But it was in vain because the one who pushed her was long gone. But she had a hunch on the person who did this to her.
