Everything happened so fast, it was like a blink of an eye. It was the first and the last time she felt those incredible feelings for someone. It was her first love, but it was also bound to be her last one too. This was her one true love, and it was the love that consumed her, the love that made her happy for eternity. But before telling her love story let me introduce her and tell the details of her family and friends first.

Her name is Maayi San. She lived in Tokyo with her family. Her family is a small middle-class family consisting of her parents, herself, and her younger brother. Satoshi San, her father. He runs a small cafe in the city for the livelihood. Her mother Saori San is a good baker who helps her husband to run the cafe by making the food items in the cafe. Their cafe was well-known in the city for having different varieties of Kashipan and other pastries. Due to this, they didn't have many financial problems. Her younger brother Maaji San is studying in sixth grade. He is also a bright student like his elder sister. Maayi San has completed her high school education, and she is preparing for her college entrance exams now.

Days passed by with tough study sessions and her college entrance exams are over in a flash. She is eagerly awaiting her results. She wanted to study at Tokyo University, one of the most famous colleges in the city.

Tokyo University is not only famous but also one of the best in the city or should I say the number one college in Tokyo city? It has been the best University for years due to the quality of its academics and also, for sports, arts, and other extra-curricular activities. It has been in the first position for years. Maayi was a studious student, so she tried her best in her studies and did very well in her entrance exams. She knew she could get admitted to Tokyo University because she is a very smart student.

In a few weeks of waiting, the results of the college entrance exams are out and Maayi San got admitted to the Tokyo University as she wished, along with her best friends Yaami and Suthomi. They become best friends from their elementary school and till now they are together. The trio was inseparable from their childhood.

Like Maayi San, Suthomi and Yaami came from middle-class families as well. Both of Suthomi's parents are teachers and Yaami's father is working in the fishery industry of the island of Hokkaido.

Suthomi is very much like a fine lady when compared to Yaami. Suthomi is a very good girl, who is a very studious, mature, and well-behaved girl. But Yaami is the exact opposite of Suthomi, she is the crack head of the group. Yaami acts like a kid always and never takes anything seriously, unless it is very serious. Yaami is very smart, if we compare Yaami to both Maayi and Suthomi, then Yaami will surely outsmart both of them. But she doesn't study like Maayi and Suthomi, but still, she scores better marks than both of her friends.

The three of them have extremely different characters when compared to each other, three exceptionally different natures. They are very different from each other, but whenever it comes to deciding anything very important, and then somehow they all have the same opinions and decisions. There are no secrets between them since they became friends.

Suthomi has a boyfriend, his name is Kasai. Her boyfriend is a boy staying next door to her house. She met Kasai first when they were in Junior High School. Kasai started working in the cafe near their school. He moved into Suthomi's neighborhood after he started working in the cafe. Suthomi and Kasai became friends, then eventually they both fell for each other. Now it's been three years since they both started dating.

As for Yaami, she also has love, but it is only a one-sided love. His name is Hayashi. He is studying at Waseda University, another famous University in Tokyo. His University is near Yaami's house, so she often went there to see him. But Hayashi never knew about her feelings. She started to have feelings for him when she was in elementary school. It was just a crush at first, but when time passed those feelings started to grow, and she came to know that she started to love him genuinely. She has loved this boy wholeheartedly for almost thirteen years, but she never tried to express that love or never tried to tell that boy about her love, about her true feelings towards him.

Maayi San has never felt any kind of feelings for anyone till then. So she is the only true single pringle who is ready to mingle among the three of them.

The three of them have selected the same course, and so they have become classmates too. In their class, there are thirty students. Most of them were from rich and highly influential families. So there was too much comparison between the students. The teachers also showed partial behavior by considering the family of the students from which they are coming from. That was the only problem the middle-class and low-class students who attended the college with scholarships had in their college life. Other than that it was excellent and the days went by with the same boring college and studies.

As I said before, there was a big difference between the rich students and other students. But the most favored student in this category was Sana. She was the only daughter of a large business family. Her dad is one of the board members of the college. So she is very rich by her birth, we can say with our eyes closed that she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth, and she is a very proud person. She never liked any poor and middle-class people. She was also known as the college beauty, the mean girl's group's leader. She is indeed so beautiful and elegant, that every guy in the college wants to date her.
