1 The Alpha Guild

The appearance of the monsters is a great disaster in history of humanity. They bring fort tragedies, destruction and catastrophe. They saw humans as foods, kill them and eat them. They destroyed cities, because the weapons of humans are like toys for them, it can't even scratch their thick skin. Because of this, humans are struggling to live, doing everything they can think of in order to survive.

They call the gods they believed in, and gods bestowed humans a gift. A power to fight back against those monsters, a power to survive and a power to led the humanity once again. The humans who wield this powers from the gods are called hunters. Hunters, who become the heroes of this world, swarming into the dungeons to eliminate all the monsters who will become threat to humanity in the future.

They came back victorious from the dungeons, with a slight casualties of course, but the gate of the dungeons never closes nor the dungeons disappeared. They decided to build settlements in every dungeons they cleared in order to guard it. And every week, they go inside the dungeons and they found out the mechanism of the dungeons. As long as the cores of the dungeons are intact and safe, the monsters they killed will revive after a week. Hunters decided to monopolize this mechanism, thinking that this will be an endless source of powerstone, gemstone and resources, and of course monsters meat.

Hunters started to group themselves in order to protect the dungeons the monopolized and called it guilds. Every guild members have a share in the profits of every dungeons they monopolized. The sharing will be, forty percent for the guild funds, ten percent for the leader and fifty percent will divided by all members. And every guild who monopolized dungeons started to prosper, expanded their settlements and they build cities.

And in one of the cities created by the guild called Cross Guild, an orphanage build by a nun, Maria. She was kindhearted and pitied those kids without families who survived the horde of monsters. She take them all and treated them as her own children, she feed them and provided them all their needs. But being a nun is not easy, providing foods for orphans she took care, the guild who is supporting her transferred to another settlements because they had conflict with the Cross Guild.

Mother Maria had no choice but to leave the city along with the kids. They wandered from cities to cities and settlements to settlements, just to find food they could eat. They even wandered in dangerous areas where monsters are still lingering. Mother Maria along with twenty kids, begged for foods in every settlements and cities. But hunters just kicked them out, resulting for the death of five kids, Darius saw this, and poured his anger in all hunters.

" I swear, I will get revenge, I will bring terror in this world, and I will bring all those hunters who kicked us out into their downfall." Darius shouted in anger while Mother Maria looking at him crying. They are starving, they have nothing to eat, and they saw the dead bodies of five children who live with them in the orphanage. They wanted to eat them but Mother Maria told them not to do that but instead respect their dead comrades.

Fifteen of them left, including Mother Maria, continue to wander in the wilderness. They didn't notice that they are already in the territory of wild monsters. Not until they heard the sound of fighting monsters, a giant water snake and a one horned flying dragon. Both of them are so fierce and their fight is so intense until one of them died, giant water snake is no match for the one horned flying dragon. While the dragon is victorious, but it has been inflicted by the deadly poison of the giant water snake. It has been weakened and a a brink of its death, and so the flying dragon died along the giant water snake.

Darius then hurried to retrieve the corpse of the monsters, but Mother Maria stop him. The dead bodies of the monsters are toxic and has poisonous parts. So Mother Maria detoxify it for them to become edible to eat. Mother Maria is a hunter, with the class of healer and have an occupation of surgeon.

That night they feast, the eat meat to their hearts content. This is the happiest moment of their life, this is the first time they could eat all the meat they wanted. But not for all of them because three of them died in a brutal way. They have been gnawed by monsters who smell the blood of the dead giant water snake and flying dragon. While twelve of them escaped out of fear. They saw the dungeon nearby, it is without an owner. The monsters are still coming in and out through it.

But the problem is, Mother Maria is the only hunter in their group and she is not a combat type but support class. They have no choice but to pray on the gods, to give them strength to fight those monsters, and to entertain the gods. The gods give them gifts, and one by one, they feel the strength of the gods.

Darius, the oldest among the kids, used his gift to conquer the dungeon in front of them. He alone enter the dungeon, and inside the dungeon he used his gift.

Inside the dungeon, Darius wave his hands in the air, " By the power of the gods gifted upon me, I call those warriors on all legends and myths, who conquered many nations and bring fort victorious in all battles" ... after saying this, Darius shouted with a loud voice, "Rise!" ... The ground trembled and dead soldiers started to rise. " Behold my ability, One-Man Army, let's conquer this dungeons, kill all the monsters and let no one alive." With these the undead scattered inside the dungeon, and in a mere second, the cries of monsters being hunted can be heard inside the dungeon.

Darius came out from the dungeon without any scratch and the kids with him in the orphanage along with Mother Maria gathered around him. They are asking what happened inside the dungeon, but Darius didn't tell them what happened. He only said, " from now on, this is our territory, let's create our own guild and build our settlement here. No one can steal it from us because I will protect it, no the Alpha Guild will protect it."
