Cruden was indifferent to the idea of children. It wasn't that he didn't want them or saw the need for them. The thought of children was a mere idea floating in people's minds. His supporters would always be for the idea. No matter what Cruden wished for. Even his enemies would support the idea, for it'd just be one more liability to Cruden.
Having raised Noah practically by himself, Cruden was irritated by the sound of crying kids and their nasty habits. He despised tears. He absolutely couldn't stand how unsanitary they were, with their little boogers and drippy noses. Their hands were always sticky with something too.
But now that Cruden was married to a wife too tender-hearted and doe-eyed for his own good, he had to contemplate the question once more.
Did he want kids or not?
"There are benefits," Kallum once tried to convince Cruden pre-marriage.
