Chapter 50 Condescending

Gloria eyes twinkled. "No, I'm a little tired today. Maybe another day."

Hearing this, Nydia answered considerately, "Alright then, take a nice rest today. If you are bored, remember to call me and I will go accompanying you."

"Sure."

The two of them said nothing more and hung up the phone.

Jonathan glanced at Gloria without mentioning anything. He stepped on the accelerator and drove all the way to where she lived.

Gloria looked at Jonathan and said, "Thank you very much today."

Without the arrangement of Jonathan, she might not have been so successful.

Jonathan raised his eyebrows, "You're welcome. I do this only to return your favor."

Gloria continued, "Good night."

Jonathan smiled, his eyes full of tenderness. "Are you concerned about me?"

Gloria didn't answer.

It was just a polite remark. She smiled and gotout of the car without saying anything.
