Safira burst out laughing. She took the glass of wine out of his hands, giving him the opportunity to wrap his other arm around her waist. She gasped in shock as he pulled her even closer.
"Three glasses?" She looked up at him with an arched brow, "I watched you down three glasses in just the last ten minutes alone!"
She carefully placed the wine glass on a passing waiter's tray. Damien held her hand in his and kept his other hand on her waist. As the music from the live band began to fill the air, the Alpha began to hum the tune.
He carefully guided Safira onto the dance floor, where other wolves were dancing with their partners. Her palms were beginning to sweat. She looked up at Damien with a worried expression, hoping he wouldn't make her dance.
She didn't know how to!
"Don't worry, Sunshine," he whispered sweetly in her ear, "Just follow my lead."
