“WHAT are you going to do with Herman?” I cautiously asked Maxim as we stood in front of the warehouse where the basement prison was.

“I will consult with the other ranked wolves of South Forest, but right now, all my wolf wants is to have him imprisoned in our territory.”

It must have been hard for him to control his wolf. I knew he was out for revenge, but he has to be an Alpha first. He has to consider what the other wolves in South Forest would want to do with the person who killed their former Alpha. A powerful title also comes with its downsides.

“Herman Black is tied to Diana and Diana is Alpha Thomas’ mate,” I commented.

“I don’t think Diana would still dare to try and save her grandfather after what she did,” Maxim answered. “I need to talk to him right now. Is Alpha Thomas still down there?”

I mind linked Luke to ask that and found out that Alpha Thomas was still there. “He’s down there. Diana is still his mate, Maxim.”
