AT first, I thought it wasn't true. In just a span of weeks, my life has been tumbling up and down in a myriad of lies and surprises.

I turned from hating my mother to despising my father to loathing them both. And now, I am once again presented with something that will for sure break more boundaries in my beliefs.

Tara was as surprised as I was. What Herman Black said was a definite shock. I wasn't expecting it. I thought the next thing that would surprise me would be finding out who the killer was. I was so wrong.

We were all trapped in a movie, in a book. Everything felt like it was scripted into a plot that was going to mess up all of our lives.

"I hope you don't tell anyone just yet. I am still to bring Maxim back to South Forest to regain the balance in that pack. I thought hiding it from the world was going to save us all, but that was my biggest mistake," Herman said sadly.

"Why did you put a curse on South Forest?" Tara asked the old man.
