CHAPTER -13 Abducting me
When Diana and Beta came to a halt into a deep forest, Diana twirled around happily. For the very first time in so many years, she was able to take her first breath freely in the forest.
The leaves danced as the cold breeze swept across them. Everything, especially the moon, looks so beautiful to Diana.
"Finally." Diana wanted to scream this word out so loud late at night, but Beta warned her not to.
"It could be dangerous out here Diana, and if we're being attacked by wild beasts and rogues because of the attention, it'll be bad." He said.
Diana nodded. "I just feel so happy to be free again, to be able to see the moon so clearly, and as much as I like again without fear of what might happen tomorrow."
Beta smiled back when she said that, and the more Diana twirled around in happiness, the more he was beginning to notice more of her beauty and elegance. Her looks distracted him so much, but then he had to control himself around her.
"Are you that happy?" He asked.
Diana stopped, and then looked at him. She arranged are messed up hair while still giggling a little. "Very happy." Before replying him.
Beta curious to know more about Diana came closer to her. Diana didn't really suspect anything with his recent behaviour, and so she remained still.
He reached for her hands, and then whispered into her ear.
"I want to see your wolf." He said.
The smile on Diana's face faded immediately, and she stared so seriously at him, wondering why he wanted to see her wolf.
"Why?" Diana asked, feeling so suspicious about him.
"I want to see you in your wolf form Diana. How do you shift?" He asked.
Diana stepped back a bit away from him, and he started stalking closer to her, she knew he wanted something else from her.
"I'm unable to shift yet. I do not have a wolf her." She said, hoping he would believe her just immediately without further questions.
Though Diana had never changed into her wolf form before, but since her vision with her family, she knew her special abilities would be one every other wolf would be after, and she wasn't ready to be wanted by many just yet.
Keeping her special abilities away from everyone, especially Beta and the world, was her top priority.
Maya was ready for an attack when he kept stalking closer to her, but Diana knew that if her wolf should act, then he would find out about her abilities.
"Calm down, he won't hurt us." Diana assured her wolf, who was way more at alert than her. Maya was a fierce wolf, and Diana was starting to figure that out.
"I told you not to go, but you wouldn't listen." Maya replied.
"Don't act rashly, I can handle this on my own." Diana fought back words with her wolf.
"If he lays just a single finger on you, then I won't be sorry for what will come next." Maya said lastly, then immediately remained quiet and calm like Diana had instructed.
"Then what special abilities do you have?" Beta said, coming to a halt close to her.
"I have nothing, I'm just a lowly slave who wants nothing but freedom." Diana replied him.
When beta looked deep into her cyan eyes, he saw fear in them.
"Alright. I can help you become stronger if you wish, Diana, at least for your own safety out there."
Diana rolled her eyes when he wasn't looking at her. She knew he really wanted something else from her, but what was it?
All she needed to do now was to find a way to part ways with him as soon as possible, and make her own way towards another path.
As they continued walking further, they came to a small house in the middle of the forest.
"Over here. since it's late, we can stay here for the night and continue tomorrow." He said.
One look at the small building and she immediately became scared. What scared her most was staying in the same room with Beta, especially with the fact that he was always making flirty advance towards her.
"We should keep moving, what if the Alpha finds out I'm missing and begins a search." Diana suggested.
"Not a chance Diana, trust me. He'll be busy till late tomorrow morning, and won't even notice your disappearance till late at night tomorrow." He said.
Diana wondered how he was so sure about that, but she decided to focus on the most important thing- her safety.
"You can drop me in the next city Beta. It isn't far from here, and I don't want to stop."
He walked in, leaving her behind as he was sure she would come in too.
Diana, hesitant to walk in along with him, stood outside. She turned to look at the forest, and it scared her so much to walk all alone with nobody by her side.
"Please, I need to do something on my own beta." She yelled from outside, but he didn't give her back a reply.
Before Diana could say another word, a hand pulled her into the house, and covered her mouth in order to prevent her from screaming.
"You should listen to me when I talk Diana. Your disobedience gets me angry." He said, making her forcefully sit on a stool he had prepared.
Diana whimpered a bit, trying to control the burning rage of Maya.
"What do you think you're doing beta? Abducting me?" She asked.
"I was really trying to be nicer earlier Diana, but you got to stop being stubborn else I might desire every part of your body the more." He said.
His last words got Diana scared, and for the very first time, Diana wished she had listened to her wolf when she warned her.
"Maya, do you think you can help?" Diana asked, but just immediately a thick strong chain was being used on her in the dark.
Diana found out seconds later that she was fully chained to the stool she sat on.
"What the hell is this? Let me go." She growled loudly.
"Not so fast, young lady." Diana heard him say, and her eyes immediately turned golden yellow out of the burning rage growing inside her slowly. She tried controlling it, but Maya wouldn't let her stop.
"I have a feeling you're not just who you say you are Diana." He said, tracing his hands on her face, before reaching for her neck, then her cleavages.
