Chapter 51 His proposal

Flake's POV

I hurried home from the wedding and prepared Gray's favorite. I spent my time in cooking and soon I was done with the cooking. I dished out his food and that of Clint, I took a taxi to the hospital, all I could think of now was how to get Gray out of his present situation. I rushed to his ward and he was asleep, I smiled looking around, there was no sign of Clint, I felt his temperature and it's back to normal. I smiled and gently tapped him

"Honey, I'm back." I said and he stirred, he turned to my direction

"Ma, I don't wanna stay here anymore, I hate it here." He announced and I chuckled

"I brought you food." I opened the flask and fed him the mashed potatoes, he smiled and collected the flask from me as he fed himself

"Aunt Laila did her wedding." I said

"Who cares." He stated and I shook my head in disbelief

"Everyone was really worried." I said and he sighed. The door swung open as Clint entered the ward. He was putting on a sleeveless pajamas. His muscles flaunted itself with a ta too on his left muscle. I swallowed and glanced at Gray who smirked. I shook my head, that's embarrassing right?

"Ma, Please help me with my phone, it's over there." Gray pointed at his backpack. I quickly searched it for his phone, I was surprised he's got a new expensive phone, I shrugged perhaps Clint bought it, I turned and my jaw dropped. Gray was standing beside Clint who knelt down holding a golden ring with my name in printed on it, I gasped and covered my mouth with my palms

"Flake, since the very first day I saw you, I knew we were meant for each other, I tried approaching you but I was afraid that you may not be interested in me, I know I made a terrible mistake and I honestly want to let you know that I will never be able to forgive myself. I want you to trust me one more time, just give me a chance to prove how strong I do love you. I won't let you and Gray go through any pain anymore, I'll be a great father and husband, trust me. Will you marry me?" Clinton proposed I was bewildered, this had once been my dream, I was about to reject when Gray held my hands with pleading eyes, I can't turn him down right? I sighed.

"Yes, I'll marry you." I said and Clint pressed his lips together.

"There's no need lying to yourself, if you don't want to marry me Flake." He said and I smiled at him

"I'll marry you." I said and he smiled at me and pushed the ring to my fourth finger. I smiled at him, though I was still at arms length with him, but I'm really happy that he proposed to me, I'll get to end up with the man of my dreams.

Angel's POV

I was surprised when I caught the flower. I went home excited and then I bought a vase where I placed the flower, I smiled as I arranged the flower, it was really beautiful. Laila was really beautiful today and I'm glad she get to experience love and care. I patted my tummy and smiled when my baby moved, my time is due, I know due to the Anteneta programmed I attended and the signs I can't really wait to see my daughter and what she'll really look like, I giggled when I remembered the ugly portrait of Frank when he was a baby

"Baby, I really wanna know what you'll look like, can you hear me? Mummy wants to carry you and rock you to sleep, I'll ensure I give you the best Okay?" I patted my tummy and then my body became hot. That's the recent effect of my pregnancy, sometimes it makes me bath 6 times a day, I took off my dress and wrapped my towel, then I entered the toilet and took my bath.. The burning died out, knowing Frank won't be back early, I arranged the rooms and decided to make some gooseberry pies for dinner. I hummed while cooking, since I lived with Frank, I felt like my world is complete and he makes me feel worthy of him. In fact, he is invaluable to me.

"Seems like beauty is in a good mood." Frank's voice rang out and I smiled as his hands landed on my waist

"You look good today." I recommended and he smiled

"I should, for my Angel." He stated and I blushed. He wanted to kiss me and I averted my face as I turned to dish out dinner.

"That's not fair." He groaned and I laughed, I served dinner and we ate together chatting and laughing together. I really missed him, this day's he's been really busy due to the wedding plans and office works, I'm really glad that Alpha Amos got to trust him with alot of things concerning himself.

"How did everything go?" I asked and he sighed, it's been two days now since the wedding and they're trying hard to cover up for the lost contracts during the wedding event.

"Great, Alpha's really been cheerful this days, I hardly see him that way, and he even doubled our salaries." He said and I gasped

"Wow... That's nice of him, I'm just happy that he followed the advice given to him." I stated

"Just see it this way, you're an Angel sent to brighten up peoples' lives and I'm glad I ended up with you." Frank said and I blushed, but there was seriousness in his face as he spoke

"Lemme clean up...." I didn't complete my sentence when a sharp pain hit me with full force

"Are you okay hun?" Frank asked as he rushed towards me and I screamed in pain. The pain is just unbearable

"It's... It's so painful... Ah.." I screamed again and he hurriedly grabbed his keys and wanted to carry me when I shook my head in disapproval. He walked me to his car and I bit my lower lip that I bled. It's really painful,  immediately I felt my water broke as Frank was speeding up

"Stay with me honey, stay with me okay?" He was trembling in fear and though I hated it, I can't do anything about it. I sobbed, the pain was much. Soon we arrived at the Moonlight hospital, I was rushed to a ward, Frank insisted on coming with me but the doctor refused and I nodded at him with a smile

"I'll be fine." I weakly stated as they pushed me to the ward

"Be strong okay, be strong for me," he wanted to take my pain away but the doctor stopped him as I was taken inside the ward.

The matron looked deep into my eyes with two nurses holding my left and right hand, gently rubbing it in theirs.

"Okay Angel, just look straight at me okay? Don't avert your gaze, then you push okay?" She asked and all I could do was nod as the pain was unbearable, I looked straight at her and started pushing hard. I felt something left my stomach at the fourth push. She helped me spread my legs and injected a drug to my system, I panted and pushed again, the pains around my abdomen reduced and I continued pushing, I can't wait to see my baby, those thoughts made me feel emotional as tears slid down my eyes and I pushed with my last strength. Something left me and my heart melted at the sound of a crying baby, my baby, I was surprised at how hairy and beautiful she was, she carried her father's get eyes. The door was pushed open as Frank pecked me. His eyes were red and I guessed he's been crying. He smiled as Lucas purred  at the sight of our baby. She's really beautiful, soon I loses consciousness and drifted to darkness but the smile on my lips at the sight of my baby made me felt warm, I'm glad I've got a true family now.....
