Chapter 34 A new gift from him

(A new Gift from him)

I was astounded at the amount of cars here, he turned to me with a smile and whispered to me

"Take a car of your choice." He said to me and I moved to the royal blue ferrari SF90 spider. I love the car and I looked up at him

"Can I take it?" I asked and he gave me a lopsided smile.

"It's yours then," he said and punctured a password, then a small box opened and he handed me the key and Sapphire purred

"Thank you so much." I said and hugged him, I could feel his excitement and he looked proud.

"It's okay, anything for you." He cupped my cheek with his fingers and brought his lips to mine. I claimed it and kissed him passionately, I loved him, I just realized it I loved his aura, scent, animal charm, voice and everything about him and I don't know if I'm worthy of him, I pulled away breathing heavily.

"Let's go?" He stated more like a question.

"You coming with me will not help me Chris." I uttered in my low persuading tone and he sighed

"No problem Laila, I just want to be beside you." He smirked at me and his hand brushed my waist

"Let's go." I said and he smiled

"Right." He said and threw the key to me and I caught it with my fingers

"You're one tough lady." He commented buckling his seat belt and I smiled at him

"Of course, though I'm not daddy's girl." I stated and he sighed

"No need remembering your family, I'm your family now." He assured me and I felt warm and comfortable.

"Okay." I nodded as he pecked my temple....

Amos POV

I stared at her and I was proud seeing her behind the wheels, she's a skillful driver, of course, she's just good in everything. She drove deeper into the village and I pondered on her destination, but she won't tell.

"When we get there, you'll know." She said with a smirk her eyes still on the road and I frowned massaging my jaw

"You can read my thoughts?" I asked and she smirked, she turned to me with a smile that could make a man go crazy and I was not excluded.

"Just like you once read mine." She stated and I bit my lip wistfully

"It's okay. we're already there." She said to me and pulled up in a cottage

"What are you doing here?" I asked with a frown

"You'll see," she said and hung her purse as she glanced at me with a blush. I felt my heartbeat raced. People around us bowed and I followed her into the cottage

"Greetings my Luna, Alpha." A young  lady said and I ignored her while Laila smiled sweetly at her.

"Umm where's Mrs Davis?" Laila asked the girl.

"She's inside, come with me." The girl said, I could feel her eyes checking me out as Laila immediately wrapped her hands around my arm. I knew she was jealous but I don't show emotions outside, we walked to a cozy room and I heard the sound of a sewing machine, this was a seamstress shop.

"Why don't you let me order your clothes from one of the best etiquette shops?" I whispered to her and she shook her head.

"I love her designs." She said

"Greetings Mrs Davis," she greeted the old lady who bowed instantly

"Alpha, Luna, what do I offer your visit?" She asked

"I need a gown with this design." Laila said to the older woman who smiled at her as she went through the design Laila handed to her. But I couldn't see it clearly then Mrs Davis eyes widened

"Wow Luna, this is one hell of an astounding gown and it will cost you a fortune." The woman stated and Laila smiled at her

"How much?" She asked and I looked at the woman

"How much will it cost? We need your hard work and best tactics here, money is no problem." I said and the older woman nodded with joy.

"Thanks for choosing us Luna." She said and Laila smiled

"It's no problem, I just need something apprehensive, do surprise me Mrs Davis." Laila said

"I promise to give you more than the satisfaction you need Luna, I must comment, your painting is nice." She noted and Laila smiled at her

"Thanks." She said to the older woman, another petite lady emerged from the other wooden door

"Oh mother.... Greetings my Alpha, Luna." The lady blushed and Laila nodded.

"Send me every details about the dress and do send me the price." Laila said and I shook my head, my eyes held hers

"Send me the price and use the best materials, I want an expensive taste." I said and she looked away

"No, no Chris, it's my dress, I shou...." I cut her off

"And you're my Luna, it is your dress,you're my priority." I explained and she nodded while Mrs Davis smiled at me, I sent her my Business contact and she was delighted like she won a lottery and then we left.

Laila's POV

I entered my new car and I really felt proud that Chris had to come with me. I claimed his lips with mine inside the car.

"Thank you... For everything." I said and he sighed and rubbed my hand with his thumb

"Oh come on now Laila, I apologize for not doing this earlier but when I make a promise, I never go back on it, please don't appreciate, it's my right and duty to provide this things for you." He said and I felt my cheeks were beginning to hurt from blushing so hard. I started the car and hit on the road..

"This car is still brand new, why didn't you use it?" I asked him and he sighed making sapphire frown

"I have lots of them, and I don't drive people's gift,at least not everyone, I value them and if I can't value it, I give it to someone who can." He explained and I nodded

"It's a gift?" I asked and he nodded

"From who?" I curiously asked, who'd gift someone a really expensive possession? Except the person finds him really important and wants to appreciate right?

"My cousin, he wanted me to have it on my birthday last year." He scoffed and i frowned

"You don't like birthdays?" I asked and I could feel he was in pain..."it's okay if it hurts, you can as well not tell me," I said to him and he said nothing, just looking out through the window. We arrived at the Palace and I saw Angel with a basket, she was wearing a long green flowing gown and her belly bump was even bigger now

"Angel..." I called as well hugged each other

"You can't believe this Luna," she said to me and I frowned as I collected the basket from her and make her seat.

"I met Flake yesterday, I seriously met her... But..." She said and I was excited while Sapphire groaned.

"Flake? Seriously?" I excitedly asked clinging to Angel's palm

"Yeah... But she's a whore now, with a son." Angel whispered to me and my face dropped, how could this be? No, it can't be Flake, maybe Angel is mistaken right?

"Maybe... It's not Flake," I stated

"It's Flake, I spoke with her and believe me, I was sad on discovering this too, she's changed so much." Angel said and I was breaking inside, I was not there for her, too bad I didn't know that my best friend was in need and now, she sells her body just to provide for herself and her son.

"I want to meet with her, can I see her?" I asked Angel who shrugged.

"Next tomorrow then, we'll go visit her." Angel said and I nodded "I need to prepare dinner, I'd be heading home now, take good care of yourself." Angel stated and I nodded slowly with a smile, I felt bad for Flake's condition now and I must help her and take her away from that life...
