Laila turned towards the voice and her eyes met the male older, taller and muscular version of herself. She gasped in shock and then her eyes drifted to Chris who was standing beside him, looking hot and handsome like always... She caught some women drooling over him.

The man that looks so much like her also had the same aura as Christamos, was he an alpha too? She finds herself asking. He looks so handsome and magnificent. He was huge too

"Dad, who is he?" She asked, seeing her father's sad expression

"I said I'm your father!" He yelled as Amos growled at him and he calmed his nerves. His eyes still on her.

"You are not my father, he is my dad." She sounded pissed

"Laila!" She heard Blake

"Big sis!" She heard Nina and her face glistened with tears

"Blake, Nina!" She ran to them, they are now grown, Blake looks more muscular and handsome while Nina was not that tall but cute and chubby

"How are you guys doing?" She asked

"Don't leave us again big sis please." Nina pleaded with tears staining her face, Laila hugged her.

"Of course, I will never leave you again, I pro...." She was interrupted by Chris as he cleared his throat and came close to her

"Don't promise, I think you are coming with me." He said in that fruity voice, as some women purred

"Is he your boyfriend Laila? He's cute and hot."Nina whispered making Laila sighed as she knew Chris must have heard it.

"Where is Mum?" She asked as she saw their faces fall

"She's locked up." The king answered

"Why?" Laila raised her voice

"Laila i think you should get to know your father more..." Her foster father said as she tensed

"But you're my father, I love you daddy, you're my father, Blake and Nina are my siblings right?" Laila's voice became shaky out of tears

"We're still your step siblings big sis." Blake said as he hugged her tugging her hair back and caressing it like he was the big brother here.

Sapphire purred while Laila cried out of heartbreak. Clark sent a warning growl to Blake, though he was her brother, but him being so handsome didn't help as Clark feared she might fall for her stepbrother if care is not taken. Amos pulled her from his hands and caressed her hair making Blake smirked.. This guy just earned his trust for his sister, he had a feeling that he'd take good care of Laila. He raised his hands in surrender.

"It's okay." Amos embraced her not to cry

"Where's mum,I want to speak with her." Laila demanded and the king nodded to the guards. Two guards took her to a lonely chamber on the north axis of the castle. One of the guards unlocked the chamber as she pushed the door and entered. There was no one there, The room was cozy and homely. She sat on one of the sofa in the room and sighed

"I know you've come to ask me what is going on." She heard her mother's deep voice but she won't turn to look at the woman who hid a big truth from her, no she won't.

"Is it true?" She asked in a firm tone void of any emotion "is he a werewolf too?" She asked still not facing her mother... Helen felt sad, her daughter will hate her. But it was all Hughes fault. It was his fault that everything happened, but will Laila understand that? she never wanted her daughter to hate her.. And she always dreaded this day to come. Her pretty Angel will loathe her for life, she caused the day Hughes came into her life. She caused the day he found out about Laila...

"You're more beautiful than I expected." She said trying to divert the hatred and anger in Laila's voice

"Just like your first lover don't you think?" Laila said with hatred. Helen raised her hand to rub her daughter's hair, but Laila smacked her hand off her hair, and warned

"Don't touch me!" She growled at Helen who flinched as tears fell down her cheeks, she stared at her grown, pretty Laila. What she was afraid of, that her daughter will ever hate her.

"Laila please, I'm your Mum, I love you my baby." Helen cried trying to reach for Laila's face

"Don't you dare... Don't you dare touch me! I hate you! You made me live a life of lies! You hid the truth from me for 23 good years! You made me hate a good man for no reason, the only family I have, is Mr Hales, Blake and Nina. I don't know you or your so called ex boyfriend..." Laila yelled and turned to leave. She left angrily with tears on her face

"Laila!" Helen shouted and ran after her daughter.

  Laila left the north axis of the castle and headed for the throne room. She saw the worried look on Mr Hughes face when he looked at her. He stood up and walked over to her, he wanted to hug her but sapphire sent a loud growl to him as her eyes turned deep gold, making everyone gasp in astonishment. No one had ever seen Sapphire's eyes before, but she was too angry to be betrayed. A warm hand pulled her to a hard chest that made her feel safe and at home.. As the warm feeling of being loved spread through her, weakening her as all her tears poured out.

"Leave me, leave me..." She sobbed hitting his muscles, but he never let go. He held her more close to his body

"I'm sorry Laila, I never knew you existed else I wouldn't let Helen run away.. She never told me that I had such a treasure and I've lived all my life waiting for her to return to me. I never knew she was married to someone else." King Hughes said.

"When did you find out about me?" Laila asked in a deep hoarse tone

"Laila.." She heard her mother called and raised her hand signifying the older woman to keep shut

"On your 20th birthday, I saw you at the same party with my son. You looked just like me... I was in awe that I had someone who looked just like me and I had my men fished out your background and discovered you were Helen's daughter. I even did a D.N.A test just to confirm my thoughts and discovered you are my daughter." He said with a sad expression

"Well, I already had a family, and I guess you also had your family.. So won't it be nice if you just leave I and my family alone?" She asked in anger.

"Sorry, I can't do that, you are my flesh and blood and..."

"Your flesh and blood is now grown, I'm 23 years not like I'm a teenager, I'm about getting married soon and I can take good care of myself and my family... So you should go take care of your own family you know... I don't need another father at my 23 years." She let out a growl "I already knew my dad, Blake and Nina since I was little so, I'm not gonna let anyone or anything come between us.. Though I know now that you are my biological father, but it doesn't change anything okay?" She yelled at him

"I will never let go of you again Laila, I promise you, I will never let go."

"You've heard her King Hughes, you should leave her alone. She's already fine with her family, you can leave now." Amos commanded in his husky deep tone that makes everyone flinched. Sapphire was proud of him. He looks good, tough, and protective. Everything about him amuses her. She stared at him as he spoke with a smile on her lips and she blushed when she noticed his hands on her waist... It sent a warming sensation down her womanhood. He turned to her and she blushed as he caressed her hair. She saw the tears in her mother's eyes watching them.
