Three:

School, the first place we have met.

We were in high school when I first met him. Though because it is a dream, the whole place was mix with a grade school so I really don't know exactly which grade it is. Yet, school is the first place I met him.

Junior and Senior High School

In silence, I intently look at the front gate of our school.

Akachi National High School is the name of our school and it is pronounced as 'aa-kaa-chee' and the name means 'the hand of God'.

For some reason, the meaning of our school sounds weird since it isn't a catholic school, and yet the name derives so holy.

Well, it was the president's choice to name it like that. And I'm not against it, instead this where it all begins. The guy from my dreams begins to pop out in my head whenever I'm here.

Weird, because I only met him the first time in my dreams and that was only last night.

"Weird."

"What is weird?" Suddenly I was surprised when Chadd spoke up to me.

"¡me sorprendiste!" I suddenly speak up in Spanish and I learned it from my grandma, my mom's mother. Though I rarely speak of it, but whenever I got surprised or sacred I usually speak Spanish.

"What was that mean?"

"I said, you surprised me!" I translated then sigh before I asked. "Have you been there before?"

"Yes. And it seems you really didn't notice me."

"Do you think I'll ask more if I noticed you already?" I irritably replied.

"Hey! Chill out!" he said. "I'm just joking."

"Then, I'm not in the mood." I answered before I step forward that he follows.

"Another nightmare?" he said while we walk.

"Uhm, I don't think it is a nightmare."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, for me. It is more of a… dream."

"A dream? How can you say that when you were in a mood like that…"

"What mood?" I asked and then laugh. "You know that I am still the same." He didn't answer instead he just shrugs off. "Well, whatever! I still believe that nightmares aren't for me."

Yes! Nightmares have no place in my dreams.

"Anne!"

According to the tone of the voice of the caller I was sure it was Claire.

"No." I answered as she suddenly clutch her shoulder to mine. "What is it this time, Claire?" I lazily asked.

"Please, come with us after our class."

"To where?" it was Chadd who asked.

"Why? Are you her boyfriend?" she naughtily asked him that I quickly answered.

"He is my best friend."

"Oh, really…" the tone of her voice sounds so doubtful and I kind of hate it.

"Clai--"

"Okay! Okay! I'll stop." She replied before letting me go. "So, it is decided!" she suddenly announced without letting me to answer and then she turned her gaze back to Chadd and said. "If you truly like her more than just a friend then, step up before it was too late."

"Claire!" I warned her but she just wave her hand as her lips formed 'see you later' and left us alone. "Ahh! I hate that girl."

"Calm down. She had done no harm." Chadd calmly said before he walks passed through me.

"Yeah, right! She isn't! Yet, what she said to you is what I am fired up!" I honestly told him that made him stop that cuts me off guard and bump in to his back. "Ouch! What the!"

"What if I truly step up? What will you do?" he seriously asked and I cannot deny it, I kind of scared of the thought that he likes me. "Hey!" he suddenly turned around facing me. "I'm just joking!" he said as he laughs.

"Oh, darn it!" I said as I slap him through his shoulder.

"Ouch!"

"You deserve it!" I madly replied before I go on first to our room.

After class…

I am surprised that Claire really insisted to join them and Chadd let me since he is too busy with his practice. So, I don't have a choice but to come with them even though it makes me feel uncomfortable. You know, I am more of being alone or just hanged out with one or two friends and I do have one friend, a best friend, and it was only Chadd.

"Where are we?" I asked as soon as we arrived at a mansion? Really, it was a big one and I feel like we're out of place.

"At my cousin's house," Claire answered.

"But why here?" one of our classmate asked her.

"It is my cousin's birthday and she invited me and said that I can bring some friends."

Now she's talking and I don't like it. "Then, I'll be leaving."

"Oh, no please! Stay even for a couple of minutes." She pleaded.

"Oh, well, we're already here so, why don't we just enjoy ourselves even for a while." Another classmate of ours answered.

We are five in a group and all of us knew nothing about this party and maybe she was right, since we're already here, why not enjoy ourselves a little since it is Friday.

"Alright! Just a couple of minutes then I'm going home." I said that she happily accepted.

As we enter Claire cousin's house the first thing that I notice was the beautiful center fountain at the garden. And for some reason, I've been hypnotize by its beauty not knowing I began to daydreaming.

I saw a guy standing beside the fountain and when I look at it, I notice that he really looks familiar. So I decided to go near him and see if he was the same guy that I saw in my dreams. His posture really reminds me of him.

Slowly, I walk closer to him and to my surprised he suddenly turned around and for the first time our eyes met. Not from the moon's reflection but through our eyes.
