Medicinal bath

Alex: When can I meet my family then?

System: I will remind the host as soon as the function is available.

Alex sighed and felt dejected. He soon reached the place and said hi to the couple. He sat down and drank the water and washed his face.

"Did you have fun? Wow… you level up again. That is good.", Maris praised.

"Yes. I think I am recovering from the injuries.", Alex lied again, or else he had no explanation as per the conversation with System. From the conversation, he found out that nobody levels this fast in this world.

"Do you have any idea what was your level last time?", she asked.

"I don't know. I think I have partial memory loss.", Alex gave an excuse.

"I think so too. I would have given you medicine if we knew your previous level.", Sumot interjected.

"That would have been better but thanks for your goodwill, benefactor.", Alex replied.

"So how did you manage to heal yourself.", Sumot asked.

"I am reconstructing my cultivation level by training again.", Alex replied.

"Ahh… so that's why you are training your body in the waterfall.", Maris asked.

"That's right.", Alex replied.

"If that's the case then how about using the medicinal bath, does that work?", Maris asked.

"That will work but I don't have materials now.", Alex said.

"How about I give you some? Take this.", she handed some medicinal herbs and small bottles of liquid. As soon as his eyes landed on them, he recognized the materials which he was searching for.

"Thank you, I needed it, urgently.", Alex carefully took it and thanked her. Maris smiled but Sumot shrugged.

"No problem. These are useless to me anyway. Put the good use to them.", she said and waved her hand.

"Thank you. I will repay you someday.", Alex said.

"Ok. Let's eat first.", Maris said and all the people started to eat the food. After dinner, Alex went to his bed and fell asleep while thinking about various plans.

Alex got up early in the morning and found a big tub. He filled the tub with water and put all the herbal medicine and well as various liquids. He heated the liquid and it slowly turned into green color. According to the memories, this was the perfect solution. He quickly turned down the fire and after some time checked the temperature with his finger. It was warm and to his liking. He took off all his clothes including makeshift underwear and entered the tub. He slowly operated his cultivation technique and he could feel the medicinal properties entering his body. After entering his body, pain like thousands of ants biting inside his body began to feel. He endured the pain but the pain increased as the temperature of his body started to increase with it. He felt like he dipped into hot lava and his body started to shake.

"Ahh… fuck it hurts… Ahh", he screamed reverberating the whole wilderness and after some time, he lost his consciousness. But the process did not stop and used all the medicinal properties and expelled the black glue-like substance again into the water. The tub water turned into the black water and was giving an unpleasant odor too.

Hearing the scream, the couple quickly run towards the source and found out that he was taking a medicinal shower. Finding that he fainted, Sumot gave mocking smile but Maris gave concerned look. They waited for some time observing him. Half an hour later, he got his consciousness back and found out that he was in the same tube with muddy black water. He quickly got up and exited the tub and started to clean himself naked. Rubbing and cleaning twice, he was fresh and clean. When he observed around him, he found the couple looking at him. He ran and quickly put on the clothes.

"I am sorry that I disturbed you.", Alex apologized to them while bowing.

"Don't worry about it. Is that medicine that effective?", Maris asked after finding out that he was at Body refinement realm level 6.

"Ahh… yes but very painful.", Alex replied with a painful face.

"What are you talking about? It's just Body refinement realm level, wait for the other realm, it will get a lot worse. Did you forget the pain too.", Sumot asked.

"Ahh… yes. It seems so too.", Alex replied casually.

"Anyway, congratulation on your quick recovery. Let's eat food first.", Maris suggested.
