Wilma’s first week at work turns out to be more difficult than expected. At least, it is on Kai’s end. He keeps himself busy trying to keep their unruly spirit from trashing the place, but in between those moments of chaos, he often finds himself grappling with loneliness. Back in the Astra, he wasn’t exactly drowning in friends, but there was always someone around, always someone to check in on him or vice versa. Here, he only really knows a handful of people, and wouldn’t you know it, they all have to work.
Kai could complain about it, at the risk of sounding like an a*s. And he can’t have that, now can he? He keeps his mouth shut, watching T.V. and rereading his grimoires in between his attempts at exorcisms. This lasts for a good week or so before boredom finally gets the best of him. With his trusty cloak strewn over his shoulders, along with an autumn coat and some fluffy fashion boots, Kai sets out for the streets of Moonwater…
