Axel was already plugged into the pod, fluids set up, and muscle being moved to ensure health. This time around he has a fresh pod, not a second hand cheap one. This one had all the bells and whistles necessary to help them out. The interface booted up displaying himself, and allowing him to edit himself to his idea.

' Listen kid We get one chance at this. He needs to be perfect in looks, stature, and frame. '

' Well some NPCs only like attractive people. Not that we aren't at this moment, but we're just a little short, and a little too skinny, and a little too plain looking. Then we need to make sure we're not too big as that would make us too easy to hit, but we need to be tall enough to be cool. '

Axel began shaping himself. A little over 6"2, muscle enough to be lean, and not bulky. He made his features sharper. He gave his hair some red tint. He wanted to stand out a bit like an anime protagonist.

Having finished his looks, he felt himself merge with the man before him.

' This is the important part, kid. Dragon Slayer the one and only. Just trust me. '

' Funny That's what I wanted too. '

The robotic voice rang in Axel's ears as he quickly stated Dragon Slayer.

After finishing everything his vision faded all to black. A voice rang in his head as his vision began to form a vast sky above an enormous city.

" Welcome to Alecstracia online. Prepare yourself for a world filled to the brim with danger, excitement, and mysteries. Alecstracia, the final bastion of humanity after the monsters had entered the world through portals. The planet was left in ruins, cities destroyed; death, and carnage everywhere you could see. "

" The portals brought along the other races, whose homes had been lost to the monsters. Mana awoke those special few who could fight back. "

" As hard as the heroes of old tried, the Mist of insanity had spread too far. Anybody without the ability to wield mana had gone insane, turning into monsters themselves. "

" After years of fighting one man stood against the flow of destruction. The God King created Alecstracia with his magic, and spends all his energy holding the mist back from the city. His magic flows strongly through the city, influencing an influx of individuals with the capability of using mana. He created infrastructure, and order within his city. In turn the citizens worship him as their god, forsaking all others. The church carries out his ritual to awaken the latent mana in others, granting them a class, and immunity to the Mist's effects. "

" You shall awaken in this world, learn to wield mana, and fight back the mist, and the monsters that have laid claim to our world. "

After the Lovely lady had finished speaking, Axel found himself being swiftly moved towards the city. Crashing down in the center of a large plaza he looks around to find two others looking towards a man standing behind a podium. The man was dressed in robes, had a bald head, and a rather large necklace around his neck with a silver dragon head peering out.

" We shall await the summoning of more champions before we cominse the grand welcoming "

The bald headed monk spoke to the few of us that were standing around. A rather tall girl, and an admittedly handsome guy were the only others standing around. The girl was well over six feet tall, beautiful blonde hair, and a body built for making men ashamed that they don't spend all their time in the gym. The man however was much shorter than her, with a lithe and toned body built well, and a handsome face.

" Speak to them instead of just staring, you idiot, they are gonna think you're a weirdo. "

" Shut up old man, I'm just nervous. "

" Hey guys, how are you doing? Nice weather we're having eh? "

The two looked at Axel, and then each other before the man responded.

" Not so good with the small talk I take it? "

'Jesus christ even his voice is handsome, latin accent to go along with the rest of him. '

" No, I'm not so good with small talk. My name is Axel. What about you? "

" Guero, my friend. "

" Lillianna, nice to meet you Axel. "

' Oh lord, her voice sounds as powerful as she looks. '

" No this is new, maybe me being here has changed some things. "

And like Axel had spoken the magic words the sky broke open and hordes of bodies began pouring in, body after body dropping down until the entire courtyard was packed. The trio had already made their way to the front to be able to hear the best.

" Quiet now summoned saviors of the other realm. "

As the monk spoke a wave of magic spread over the crowd, and all became quiet.

" Today you all shall be tested, and blessed by his holiness to find out how you may best serve us under the threat from beyond the mist. Gather one at a time, and step into the precipice of your destiny, Gather within my sanctuary my holy kingdom of his grace, seep yourself within its waters, and awaken anew blessed by his majesty's power! "

The monk spoke with an infectious fervor, his every word pumping excitement, and eagerness into the crowd.

Everybody moved into a single file line according to when we arrived. It was without any input from us so it was perfectly organized. Lillianna was first, followed by Guero, then Axel.

" Alright Kid, this here is what's gonna determine our class pool, it's going to be a run of trials to determine your profile, and what all you qualify for remember we only have this chance to get a great class, and most unique or legendary, or even mythical class's can only be picked once. Since we're so close to the start there should be a large sum of powerful classes to pick from as long as we don't perform horribly here. "

In a line we entered the church, and walked directly to the most beautiful pool of water they had ever seen. Lillianna approached and walked into the water. Then she was gone, and not more than a second later she walked back out, bathed in a glorious light.

Guero made his way into the water, and like Lillianna he stepped out a moment later wreathed in a blue light.
