They didn't practice enough to make a formation to counter it, but instinctively just like Yoshihama's order, they were gathered in a circle, trusting each other with their backs while peoples who were bad at the fight was in the center of the formation.

"Komatsu, you go to the center," said a young man with a deep voice who seemed worried.

He was Arakaki Kazumi. With his high school uniform and idol-like face, Takeuchi heard that he was popular with girls outside his classroom.

One day in Takeuchi's second year in high school, Arakaki came to class with his face patched up. He didn't say anything, but Takeuchi heard that it was his parents' handiwork.

Takeuchi doesn't asking him about it, as he wasn't that close to him and with how awkward he was at starting conversation he thought it would be good thing that he just pretend he doesn't heard anything about him.

"What about you?" a sweet young girl voice asked him, sound really worried about him.

Komatsu Hinako. She wore a girl's uniform with something cuter on the outside and had pink eyes and long hair. She was outgoing, often chatting with everyone in the class.

From rumors she had a relationship with Arakaki. And from what Takeuchi observed, it was clear to him with almost every day he can see her getting along well with Arakaki. They both, Arakaki, and Komatsu had feelings for each other.

"Don't worry about me, I was with the others," Arakaki said to reassure her.

With hesitation, Komatsu then goes to the center of the formation and approaches Arai, who apparently can't fight too.

On the left side of formation there was Takeuchi with Uchimura and Umeji. While Yoshihama, Adachi, and Hatano were at the front. And on the right side, there were Fukuyama, Kozue, and Arakaki.

"Listen, girls! We would defeat the wolf and show that we don't need protection," Maekawa exclaimed from behind, while she proudly raised her hand.

While Maekawa's spirits seemed to rise, behind her, Fukaya held her spear trembling and said to Yokota, who was next to her. "Yokota, I'm scared, don't go too far away from me,"

"Don't be afraid, Fukaya," Yokota said, comforting her, while she seems to be concentrating on holding the spear in the direction of the wolf-like monsters that were encircling them.

Hearing the exchange between the two, Maekawa sighed while she made a firm stance to attack in the monsters' direction and said disappointedly as both of them doesn't seem to her what she was saying. "Both of you listen to me, sigh, alright, don't be scared too much, Fukaya and Yokota, you two just need to hold the spear tightly and let the rest flow accordingly."

Fukaya exhaled as she heard Maekawa's words and said with a serious expression, "You're right, I'm ready."

Maekawa said smiling. "Let's beat them to a pulp."

It seems like we were okay, if this continues, we will be okay, I think... Takeuchi thought, hearing what they were saying.

I just hope that this stick spear doesn't broken when met with their skin... Takeuchi thought as he look at the spear he was holding, it wasn't thin spear but it wasn't strong either which make it comfortable in his gripping.

Focusing himself, Takeuchi concentrate fully toward the wolf-like monsters. But still looking the wolf-like monsters who running around encircling them, it doesn't seem the wolf-like monster would tired out soon.

Just as Takeuchi was positioning himself just in case the wolf-like monster decided to jump on him, his shoulder touched someone next to him.

Looking at the corner of his eyes, Asaka's figure appeared, calm without any hint of nervousness in her expression. Undisturbed by what is happening, she seems to be looking at the person next to her.

"What should I do, what should I do," Nagata said, seemingly nervous and confused next to Asaka. She held her spear weakly as if she was holding it for the first time. "I can't do this, I haven't even been hurt by a single fly before."

"Stay calm, Nagata," the young girl with a pair of green eyes next to her tried to calm her down.

Naya Saori. still wearing her high school uniform, with short hair and green eyes. She joined the swimming club and was good at it. still, She's not that smart and always had bad grades.

People often mistook her for a foreigner, but she was one hundred percent Japanese. From what Takeuchi heard, her father was from a foreign country and then he met her mother.

One day her father disappeared without a word when she was young, leaving her with her mother. And so she had green eyes and features of foreign characteristics, making her face and body shape more attractive to the people around her.

"Just do what Maekawa often does, punch it, and the problems would be solved!" told Naya to Nagata with a proud face, as she place her arms on the side of her body.

"But we were holding the spear," Nagata said, seeming more nervous than before.

"I'm stupid and not like you who were smart in class, so what I was just going to do was just stab that monster and step back from its fangs, that's all," said Naya trying to reassure her. "Nagata, I'm sure we can do it!"

"That's not true, you seem braver than I was," Nagata said looking at Naya's shining eyes, after a while her shaking hands stopped shaking, and with a serious expression, Nagata said to Naya. "Thank you Naya, I will try my best!"

"That's right! We will try our best," Naya said with a grin. "With Nagata and Asaka, our teams will be the last ones standing in here!"

Hearing that, Takeuchi smiled a little and focused on the wolf-like monster once more, then he said to Asaka who was beside him, "Don't die, Asaka."

Hearing his words, Asaka curved up her mouth, then replied, "You too, Takeuchi."

The wolf-like monster looked fierce as it continued to run and encircle them. But they were also ready to strike back at the big wolf-like monster if they came closer.
