Deathly Bite

After Baron was bitten whole, what remained was chaos and terror.

The squad captains were the first ones to break the silence.

"I can't believe it- I can't believe I'm still standing here." Captain Luwis said as he shook his head in disbelief.

"Luwis, focus and tried to calm down. We need to decide what to do next. Should we chase after the Basilisk?" Captain Gill said.

"Are you serious, Gill? Chase after that monster? It swallowed Baron whole! We'd be throwing our lives away," Captain Luwis replied.

"Luwis's right. The Basilisk didn't even bother with the rest of us. Why? It makes no sense." said Captain Robin.

"Maybe it was full after eating Baron. Or maybe it saw no threat in the rest of us. Either way, chasing it is suicide." Captain Cedric said.

Frustration, Gill said. "So we just do nothing? We let it get away with killing Baron?"

"What can we do? Even if we caught up to it, we'd end up just like the others—bitten and dead," Robin replied.
