Red Auction House

John looked at the shop that was another three-storey shop other than the Alchemist Association. He found the name Red Auction House written in Golden words. Seeing this he felt that this auction house might be rich.

He also got to know about the auction house when he read the Alchemist Forums. He remembered clearly that the auction house was a place where he could buy skill books, equipment, herbs, rune scrolls, etc.

So before leaving the city, he decided to check this place as he was in dire need of skill.

He walked inside and found that this place was crowded.

There were several booths with names written on top of them, so John looked at the booths and found they mostly sold equipment and various monster materials.

Seeing this he wanted to go and check them. Especially the monster cores. If he could buy ten or twenty more monster cores then it would be better.

So he walked towards an empty stall. He found that the person who was selling the goods was a middle-aged man who wore a hooded cloak.

John immediately asked," Do you sell Monster Core?"

The middle-aged man asked in a hoarse tone," Are you Rune master".

John shook his head and said," Nope".

The middle-aged man's expression was a little disappointed and then he said," What grade monster cores do you need?".

John thought for a while and said," I need to see the quality of monster cores before buying them. Also, what is the price of each monster cores?".

The middle-aged man immediately replied in a hoarse tone," I sell only tier 1 and 2-grade monster cores. Tier 1 is sold for 1000 federation coins one each while tier 2 is sold for 10000 one each".

John thought for a second and then he said," I need thirty tier 1 monster cores. If possible I want them to be of different attributes".

The middle-aged man was stunned and then he said," Are you sure you want to buy those mutant cores?".

John nodded his head and seeing this the middle-aged man smiled and said," Wait a minute I will bring them out".

Saying so he walked back to the room, while John finally remembered the mutant monster cores was just a term used for monsters who had any attributes like fire, earth, lighting, etc.

A minute later.

The middle-aged man returned and said in a hoarse tone," Here are the monster cores you can check them. Also, may I know the reason why you are buying tier 1 mutant monster cores? As everyone knows these mutant cores are impure and thus they can't be used anywhere neither in Alcehmy nor as an energy source".

John didn't reply instead he asked," How about you reduce the price of the mutant monster core. I will buy 50 of them".

The middle-aged man was stunned and he immediately said in a slightly angry tone," No way".

Seeing this John sighed and decided to try his luck on other stalls.

The middle-aged man was stunned to see the person leaving. Seeing this he immediately gritted his teeth and said," 300 Federation coins. I will sell mutant monster cores for 300 Federation coins".

John stopped and was surprised in his heart. But he maintained a calm look on his face and said," Deal, I need 50 of them".

The middle-aged man breathed a sigh of relief as his stall didn't sell a single thing for the last two days. So he was afraid of losing the job, not to mention the tier 1 mutant monster cores were indeed useless as they could neither be used by Rune master nor as energy sources.

As those mutant monsters must advance to tier 2 only then will the energy inside the monster cores can become stable and then only can it be used by Rune Master or other sources of energy. Not to mention the tier 2 mutant cores were three times more costly than tier a normal tier 2 mutant cores.

John immediately realized that the middle-aged man was talking about the bank card. So he said," Okay then".

Saying so he stopped and then asked," Do you sell tier 2 monster cores?".

The middle-aged man immediately smiled and said in a hoarse tone," Of course. But it cost 5000 federation coins for one".

John replied," Bring me 10 of them".

The shopkeeper immediately put them in a box and John checked the tier 2 monster cores were 7 centimeters in size and that the energy inside was denser compared to tier 1 monster cores.

He paid the shopkeeper and then walked towards the stairs.

" Halt. Please show your bank card".

John immediately took out the black card and seeing this the guard immediately made a way.

So John walked up and after reaching the second floor he found people very few compared to the first floor.

He went to the place where the skill books were sold. He read the names and found that most of them were life-occupation skill scrolls. Like farming skills, chef skills, teaching skills, etc.

When he looked at the cost he was stunned as each skill book cost a minimum of 100000 federation coins and some of them had even reached 1 million points.

He suddenly saw the skill named Disguise seeing this skill his eyes lit up.

But when he saw the price his expression became deflated as it cost 10 million coins.
