Basic Slingshot Mastery

John looked at the time and found it was 8 pm already. He had eaten the food in the restaurant so he was full. So he decided to practice shooting using the slingshot.

He walked to the terrace and found that no other neighbors were. Most of them might be busy on their own so he placed a wooden bamboo and began to shoot it.

As soon as the marble was released a small explosion was heard and John immediately took a closer look. He found the place that had been hit was the wall and a tiny crater of 1 centimetres had been formed there.

Seeing this John was stunned as the firepower was comparable to that of a bullet in previous life. Then he looked at the glass that had been shattered by the impact and felt that the marbles couldn't be used as ammunition.

But for practice it was good. So in the next hour, he was continuously practicing. Fortunately, the neighbors didn't come out to complain.

The skill was basic slingshot mastery which had already been upgraded to level 4 with the help of the Alchemist ring.

He used the slingshot again but this time he could feel an entirely different feeling. As he could shoot anything within 300 meters. Any further aim would start to deviate.

John opened another box of marbles and aimed at the grass flies that were flying in front of the street light.

Seeing this his confidence soared and then he decided to refine some more monster cores.

So he took out the cauldron that he stole from the Alchemist Association and began to use the Artificial fire to refine mutant cores.

As he did, John felt that it was very hard to refine one mutant core. This core was unstable due to the fire elements present in it. A single mistake could blow the entire house.

But with the help of the Orthodox Refining Technique, he easily managed to extract the fire seed from the mutant cores after it entered the liquidation phase.

Then he refined the pure energy directly into four small explosive pills and for the flame seeds he used the Artificial fire to freeze it and then he took it out.

After that, he took a closer look and found that the flame seed was finally confined inside the ice. He then took a glass bottle and put the flame seed inside. Why he gave the name Flame Seed because it was very small in size about 0.5 centimeters and its appearance was similar to a seed.

John refined the mutant cores for two hours and then he stopped.

He checked the amount and he found that he had refined a total of 25 mutant cores and got another 100 small explosive pills.

He put them all inside the Alchemist ring and then he began to put his clothes, 100 Federation coins, toiletries, snacks, and a water bottle inside a bag.

After that, he took a cool bath and finally set the alarm to 6 A.M. and he fell asleep.

Next day.

John woke up feeling refreshed. He became ready in half an hour and then he wore a black hoodie and trousers. He then put the slingshot inside the Alchemist ring took out some marbles and put them inside his pocket.

Finally, he was ready to leave this place.

So he took the bag and then hired a taxi to the Caravan.

He easily reached within 7 minutes. Then he put his hand inside the pocket and took out the ticket and showed it to the conductor.

Later immediately said," You can get up by using the stairs. Your seat number is 21 so please sit on your seat number. Also if you want to buy some food then please do so as we won't be able to provide food".

" Of course, there are toilet facilities installed so you don't have to worry about it".

John nodded his head and then he asked," Which Spider Van should I climb on".

As there were ten of them.

The conductor said," The Spider Van with the number 3 written on it".

John looked at the Spider Vans and indeed each had a number written on it from number 1 to 10.

So he thanked the conductor and climbed up using the stairs. After that, he was stunned to see there were big sits on which a person could even easily sleep. He also found that there were three rows.

Seeing this he walked towards his seat and he was fortunate enough to get the window seat. He sat down and placed his bag and then he took out the snacks and began to eat them.

A few minutes later the seats were full of passengers. Next to his seat is a young girl wearing an expensive dress sitting. And just next to her maybe her father was sitting.

He finished eating the snacks got up and walked back toward the washroom to wash his hands.

After that, he returned to his seat sat down, and began to listen to the conversation.

" I hope that we won't be unlucky to meet monsters on the way".

" Indeed but there are also two teams who will escort us so there must not be any dangers".
