THE GATE TO HELL

"The Rodrigo's Gate To Hell" in Japan, Tokyo. It was invented by Professor William Rodrigo in 2006, it was invented with the intention of leading humanity to extraordinary levels of success in the department of technology and science but it turned out to be a gate straight to hell. When they sent a batch of explorers inside the portal they all suffered a severe mental trauma and the only thing that they were able to tell in that condition was that the dimension inside the portal was filled with dungeons full of monsters that the humans have never seen before. After further research the portal was given the name "Rodrigo's Gate To Hell", but in spite of the name being gate to hell it turned out to be some what beneficial to man kind as it started giving magical powers and super human abilities to people and an year later a new profession was found which was called The Slayer Guild. There mission was to kill those monsters in the other dimension, get there magic core and give it to the government in exchange for money, soon there were extremely rare to common style scales for those magic stones, if you have a rare magic core you'll get more money and as for the common ones you'll get less money. The slayers were also ranked ranging from class – E to class – S+. After some time the portal was shifted in a skyscraper especially made for the portal inside the Slayer Guild's headquarters and only members of Slayer Guild were permitted to enter the other dimension known as "Dimension X".

People were super excited to join the Slayer Guild and become Slayer themselves but only people born with special ability were able to join the Slayer Guild, those special powers which were bestowed upon infants was known as the Blessing Of Sornate as the final stage in that dimension was known as The Sornate's Abyss and no one has made it up to that point.

After ten years, everything was back to normal except the fact that Dimension X still exists and Slayer Guild is still recruiting people with special abilities.

"Man I'm so excited to go on some monster hunting!!"

"Yeah, they said that today we'll go to Class – D rank stage in the dungeon!! I think I'm prepared to take on those ugly faced monsters!"

"But it's a tough time for Akira!! He do have special abilities but those are just useless. Why'd he even bother to be a Slayer on the first place?"

"Yeah, around here he is known as the Cursed Slayer. He really is cursed, possessing an ability worth no time and training."

Akira Tachibana, he's 15 and is known as the Cursed Slayer among everyone in the Slayer Guild because he is the weakest one, he has super human strength ability which occasionally works for some weird reason and when it comes to using it in dungeon they mostly just betray him, so he has worked quite a lot in making himself physically strong hoping that when he is physically strong, his ability might come under his control but it never happened. He lives alone as he lost his parents in a plane crash and has only one dream, to become the best Slayer in the Slayer Guild.

"Seems like we are going on Class – D floor in the dungeon. I'm gonna do my best and I hope my ability will awaken."

"Are you for real Akira? Why don't you give up your dream of becoming the best Slayer when you know you're the worst."

"Daisuke, thanks for your advice but I've already made up my mind."

"Tch,  what an idiot!"

After sometime the leader of their party, Isshiki Yamamoto arrived and said, "Stop fighting you two! We all are team, you two should do some team bonding exercises."

"Yeah,  yeah, whatever you say captain!"

"Ok let's head to the Dimension X's Class – D floor as it seems like other twelve members of our party don't have much patience left in them. Also, although we are a temporary party for toady but please all fourteen of you act like we all are going to be a party permanently as it will boost our morale and team bonding!"

"As you say captain!" everyone shouted in enthusiasm.

They all marched in the portal and it took them 20 minutes easily to get on the D floor as it was quite higher up then the E floor. Defeating D rank monsters might seem easy for Slayers with their level above 10 but for Akira who's just level 5 it was going to be a tough one.

"I don't  understand why captain even bothered to bring the cursed slayer here! He's just gonna be a burden for all of us!"

"Yeah, you're right Renji! We have two healers but they are here only for Akira as he's the one getting injured every time, it doesn't matter whether its Class – D or Class – E he's gonna be injured by the weakest of the weakest monsters any way!"

"Yeah, now let's focus on the task at hand, okay?"

"Okay, Haru"

After travelling for some time on D floor they finally encountered a gang of 20 to 30 monsters. Beating them was kind of easy, everyone got 2 to 6 magic core but as for Akira he only got two.

"I'm still not strong enough to defeat everyone and I also got my leg injured as well. I'm so pathetic!"

"Akira, you shouldn't say stuff like that, I'm here to heal you then you can slay many more monsters. Just have faith in yourself!"

"As you say, Yui!"

"Okay, I have healed your wounded leg! Now it's as good as new!"

"Thanks Yui"

"No need to thank me just promise me that you'll be more careful next time! Okay?"

"Yeah, it's a promise"

"Now let's go, otherwise we'll be left behind!"

"Yeah, we should probably go now!"

When they were returning to join there party they saw a S – class monster who had made everyone unconscious with his illusion magic ability.

"What on earth is an S – rank monster doing on the D – Rank floor? And it had already knocked out all of our party members too!!"

"Akira, what should we do now? All of our party members are unconscious and there's no way that we can we defeat an S – class monster!!"

"I think if we want to get our party members back we need to distract the monster so that he can take off the spell from them and use it on the diversion instead. I think I can act as the diversion as my ability to sprint among the two of us is better."

"(In a angry voice)No, you shouldn't do that Akira!! What if the monster gets you? Then you're done for!! I cant allow you to do such a lunatic stunt!!!"

"Yui, try to understand. Even if we try to escape on our own that monster will most probably chase us, and in the worst case scenario he'll kill us, if I act as an diversion you can rescue all of the party members and escape. I'll  find my way out, don't worry."

Akira smiles at Yui and say "I promise I'll be back! Just be there to heal me, okay?"

"(In a crying voice) Yeah, but if you're late you are treating me to dinner!"

"Okay!"

Akira then starts running towards the monster and attacks him.
