Chapter Twelve : Talk and Parting

Sayo and Ieyasu jumped on Tatsumi Sayo lightly sobbing in Tatsumis' arms.

Ieyasu : "It's good to see you buddy, here come over to our table there are some that need to be said." He held a solemn look in his eyes as if he saw hell itself, well, he did; but in a smaller sense.

Tatsumi : "It's good to see the both you as well; but, what happened, why is Sayo crying?" Tatsumi asked with concern.

Ieyasu : "Well, it'd be better if you heard from our friend and savior, his name is Davis and he's a good guy, I think you and him might be good friends."

Leone : "Don't mind if I sneak into this conversation, which seems interesting."

The four made their way over to Merlin and myself, the both of us had our hoods up, as where I got mine Merlin conjured up a gray cloak for me to use when I so needed.

Tatsumi : "Uhm, are you Davis?"

I nodded and responded : "Have a seat my friend, you won't like what I will describe, I won't go into much detail since I was forced to endure what your friends went through for longer and the experience is still fresh for the three of us since we managed to get out last night."

Tatsumi tensed up a little and took a seat as I was warning him.

-Some time after explaining my story, meeting Aria and Merlin, and the breakout and revenge-

Tatsumi had a horrified expression on his face, he turned to his friends and hugged the both of then tightly reassuring them they'll be okay, the three sharing a deep moment between one another.

After Tatsumi let go of then he asked,

Tatsumi : "Why would someone do something as horrible as that, shouldn't we tell the police about this?"

Leone : "Oh, that isn't gonna work, nope, not at all."

Leones' response piqued my interest and I asked her why to which she explained.

Leone : "Nobles, police, military, politicians, and even at the highest point of ruling is for a lack of better words, corrupt and filled with vile and evil people, and all of the strings are pulles by one, The Prime Minister, who goes by the name of Honest."

Davis : "So this Corrupt Minister is the center of all of this?"

Leone : "Yeah, sums it all up in that question there."

Leone took another swig of beer and asked : "So what's the story with Merlin and you? Never seen the both of you around here before."

I was caught at the tongue here for a second, I didn't know how to explain Merlins' being, so I had to come up with a lie on the spot, with I had also found an opportunity in which I could use my mystic eyes, to which I employed immediately and made sure Leone could see my eyes.

Davis : "Well, I'm from the northeast countryside and Merlin, is someone who stopped by town, after traveling here from another continent in search of a student, so I am his student."

I hadn't a clue how my mystic eyes would influence this Leone so all I could hope for was that she would buy it and leave it at that, or until I can tell the truth under better circumstances. The results; however, surprised me.

Leone : "Ohh? A student hmm? Say what kind of things does he teach?" As she was asking question after question, I noticed multiple things happen at once, ONE, her eyes dialated by a noticeable size, TWO, she leaned forward enough to display herself, almost as like she was attempting to get me interested in her by using her looks, and THREE, she took an immediate interest in my lie, it's safe to say my mystic eyes work on women, do they work on men, TO BE FIGURED OUT LATER.

Davis : "Well, he teaches me a list of different and outlandish skills and about life from different perspectives, it's really interesting; however, it's something that you invest your life into, but enough about that, we all have more pressing things to discuss, namely these three getting out of here." I gave an at least buyable response and steered the conversation towards Ieyasu, Sayo, and Tatsumi leaving for safety. This is in turn, got Leone out the clouds and back to buisness.

Leone : "Ah, right, right I know only one place they can be safe, however, once we're there they'll have to make a big decision for themselves, can't really talk about it here, you'll never know whose listening" She said as her eyes scanned the room slowly, not to any draw attention.

Davis : "I see, will the three of you be ok with this? because the alternative is being on the run, assuming our wanted posters aren't already up."

Tatsumi : "Yeah, we'll be okay, wherever one of us goes, we all go together."

Sayo and Ieyasu : "Yeah!"

This warmed my heart knowing these three aren't afraid of the unknown of what's next, at they'll be in good hands with Leone.

Davis : "Right so they've made their decision, I suppose you're fine with getting them out of here soon as possible?"

Leone : "Of course that'll be alright, they'll safe with big sis Leone around, hehe." Leone said as she struck a peace sign in a more or less cheery mood.

Davis : "Well, alright then, Merlin and myself are heading back to my home village, there some things I must get, for the times ahead."

Leone : "Oh, where are you headed?" Leone asked as she rsised a eyebrow. I gestured to her to lean foward to hear my whispers.

Davis : 'Here lend an ear, it's as you said, don't know who could be listening... northeast, my village is northeast in a mountain range, well in a valley surrounded by mountains to be exact, The Silver Capped peaks, you know about them?'

Leone : 'Oh yeah I heard those places get some tourists over there sometimes because the mountain peaks look like they're made from silver, that's awesome.'

Davis : 'Indeed, when we leave the city limits, you can tell me where your group is headed, that way, we can stay in touch, just in case.'

Leone : "Alright then, with that let's move, before the sun starts setting, which is only a few hours."

We all got up left the tavern, and made our way to to the city limits when we got there we said our goodbyes and a thought occurred to me, so I called out.

Davis : "Tatsumi."

Tatsumi : "What's up?"

Davis : "You're a lucky individual to have known the corruption lying without any cost to your physical and mental well being. With that said, be kind and understanding to those who have been scarred by the corruption, and get stronger so that you can protect those you care about, Ieyasu and Sayo barely escaped death, and I assume you don't want that to happen right?"

Tatsumi : "Right!"

Hearing that I smiled my kingly smile, the smile that will on display for the whole country to see later when I begin my plans.

Davis : "Good, very good Tatsumi, go and get stronger, but don't lose sight of what you've learned, till we all meet again."

I turned my back as I was finishing my last sentence and waved the wind pushed cloak to the left making my leaving looking like I was going on a journey of a lifetime, the difference being, is that I am.

A/N : WOOOO YEAH BABY Volume One is DONE, Davis and Merlin are going back to The Silver Capped Peaks where Davis'home resides, The 3 Young adventurers are going to be introduced into Night Raid, What will be the next battle to be fought in this world of Akame ga Kill : Dawn of Fate
