CHAPTER 9 ::- Ogbu Agus Aura
When ogbu agu sensed his ambition and agender from his words, he stood up leaking out a tiny of his aura.
"GREETINGS ELDERS OF AGBATU KINGDOM"
He paused and his gaze scanned every one in the hall including the elders the chiefs of every tribes and clans in Agbatu kingdom seating in the hall.
Everyone in the hall shivered as if there is a tiny thunder current running amok inside there body.
They felt like ants standing in front of a mammoth or like a pray standing infront of a dragon, the hall became quiet as silence reign.
Even the sound of forcefully swallowing of saliva can be heard.
This thousand years old man have fought many battles and wars side by side with many great prince of aguda, His experience in wars are abondant like the sea.
"I have seen many wars, The rise and the fall of some kings and princes."
"Men caught up in there scheme."
He paused and looked at chief ogbuzulu and some others the shocked his head.
"Men with insatiable greed envy and jeloasy, Yet am still alive."
"The gods have there own reasons..... I Will teach the young ones if they accept me as there master."
He paused allowing them to digest the information while his gaze went round.
"As for kingship I don't want what happend to abam to repeat it's self here." He became solum
"I know that a great prince A Devine prince! that will accend into godhood will rise and true kings and empero will rise. Not ones that chase after there own gains a turn against his people."
He sat down after speaking. the air loosen and some exhaled, while others inhaled fresh air to calmed themselfs down after he withdrew his aura.
The elders and chiefs went into deep thought about ogbu agus words, Ogbuzulu became un ease.
He never thought that his plans will fail after being seen through. He wanted to become the next king of Agbatu so badly that he is willing to do and sacrifices anything to hold that power.
While they were in deep thought nnayelugo stood up and cleared his throat bringing them back to reality.
"My elders I support what chief ogbuzulu said, Aguda is no more in his glory days and this war?"
"It's not yet over its just the begining. I don't have any cultivation materials or man's stones to give to train the youghts."
"Some of us came from low families so please my fellow elders let's choose a king a wealthy one." He said and smiled gently.
His words and the way he framed it captured peoples heart and they aknowlage that option.
'Hmm you want to be king dream on' Akukaria thought to himself.
'Welcome on board brothers you want to be king it's easy just play the game of politics well.' Ogbuzulu
Truly this did not seat well in other people's heart especially ogbu agu, He has seen through nnayelugos smiles.
The hidden mischievous intention and greed.
'This is getting out of hand, if I don't set up a force to stop this.' Ogbu agu thought to himself. He closed his eyes and unsealed his cultivation power.
Meanwhile chief ogbuzulu stood up "Is anyone opposing the need to crown a king after abam warriors are defeated, apart from great elder warrior ogbu agu." he asked
He scanned the hall with his gaze but no one indicated to oppose such suggestion.
Akukaria stood up and cleared his throat to speak. ogbuzulu looked at him as his mouth twiched. 'Brother are you opposing what you wanted.' he thought.
"I am interested in the kingship and I have many cultivation resource to give out."
This stunned ogbuzulu and others, he speak up imidiately. "I am also interested in the king ship.
This enraged ogbu agu and he stood up releasing his aura therd tear magi warrior. The air within stood still afriad to move.
He unleashed his killing intent making the pressure overbearing for them. They all knelt down except Mazi nna nna who he excluded.
Blood began dripping from the corners of there mouth.
Ogbu agu opened his eyes as illusional image of fire and sword flickered in his eyes.
"How dare you mortals to defy me in my presence. your souls are but a flickering candle light that can be snuffed out."
He paused as his gaze swept them all. "We are sorry great elder warrior!" They all chorused in unison.
He withdrew his aura and killing intent which made them feel chills down there spine.
"Send your young ones to my compound for training, The onoh family will foot the bills." ogbu agu said while his smiling gaze locked onto Mazi nna nna.
His smiling face carries love care affection and respect for the man his gaze has locked onto. This action left unnoticed by the chiefs and elders, They knew what he meant with such smiles.
Ogbu agu left the hall and soon everyone in there left as well in a hurry.
In ogbu agu's compound, the compound is large enough for military camp surounded within the boundary by magical trees that act as defence walls.
Inside the compound are hut made with clay mud and granite stone's, This hut were strategically built and positioned giving space for training.
Ogbu agu izunna and Mazi nna nna seating side by side infront of his hut. They were discussing on the matters consining Agbatu kingdom.
"My son's you are indeed wise but the way the elders the chiefs and the council are treating the issue choosing a king is unsatisfying to me I don't know about others." ogbu agu said.
He sighed what can he do, if he choose to confront them openly war will break out and if not war will still break out.
Izunna looked at ogbu agu and saw how troubled he is and spoke. "Yes that's true, I can feel your pains but is it enough to unseal your cultivation base?"
Ogbu agu looked at him then smiled after contemplating his words.
"I just want to put them in there place."
He though for a while after replying then he looked at nna nna.
"I am not interested in the kingship for I know that a great war which aguda have never seen before will come" Mazi nna nna said.
ogbu agu and izunna became gloomy.
"War is not what we pray for. Commoners and the innocents will end up dieing, There life are like ants. But we cultivators of any type are reborn stronger through hardship and tribulation, we grow stronger to defy the immortals and heavens wills."
