Chapter 2 - The Reincarnation

[Meet the Creator]

I feel like my body is floating. I can't see anything other than water and blue skies above me.

"My child, you're awake" a male voice from afar calls out.

"Who's there? Who are you?" I asked.

"I am the creator. The one who's above all" the voice said

"Where am I? Am I dead already?" My body feels heavy. I can't move.

"You're dead in the world you used to live. Do you have any wish?" He said and ask me.

"I want to live more! I don't want to die yet!" I said to the voice.

"I can give you another chance to live again, but in return you will be in a world where monsters, demons and humans interact. Magics are valuable skills in this world. Are you in for an adventure?" He asks me.

"As long as I can live again." I said in determination. Is this for real?

"Okay, now I will transfer you to this world." He said and the surrounding started to get dark.

I feel like my body is falling from a very high place. The pressure of the air is coming through my body. I lost my consciousness again.

I felt a water dripping on my face. Am I drowning now? I slowly open my eyes to see what is happening. My eye got widen in terror when I saw a wild wolf above me, dripping its saliva as if I will be his meal for the day.

"WAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!"I shouted in terror and did not think twice when I shove of the wild wolf and it flew away to me, hitting his back on a tree.

I was stunned on what I just witnessed. "D-did I-I... J-just did that?" I can't believe what I saw. Then I remember something.

"I can give you another chance to live again, but in return you will be in a world where monsters, demons and humans interact. Magics are valuable skills in this world. Are you in for an adventure?". This is not an ordinary world. Is this some kind of like a game?

"Arrrrrhhhhhh" a wild wolf growl at me. It seems the pack of wild wolf came to rescue their member. What am I going to do? What the hell!

"Think! Think! Think Calliope!" I mouthed while looking on my surrounding, I might find something to defend myself from these wild wolves.

"It's too far, can't reach it. Shit" I saw a rock but it's too far from my position. The wolf begun to run towards me.

"AHHHHHHHH!!!" I shouted while my eyes are shut and covering my hands on my head.

"ARH-WOOOOOOOOOO" I heard a whimper tone.

1.. 2.. 3.. 4.. 5..

I open my eyes and same thing happen to the first wolf who attacked me.

"What the hell just happened?" I blurted out though I'm still confused on what happed. The other wild wolves still on defense, and suddenly run forward again.

I prepare myself "Shit! I learn some moves, might as well used it now" I said and knock the wolf who attacked me.

After fighting with the wolf pack. I suddenly felt tired and hungry. I slump down underneath a tree and rested for a while.

"If this world can use magic, then, I should check my status." I said and think on how can I do it.

Then suddenly I remember that appraisal was the term used on the game I played. Wishing that it works. I closed my eyes and said...

"Appraisal Status" something bright came out and a hologram form appear in front of me.

"Why does the number seem odd?" The numbers on my skills are pretty high compared to the game I played back then. Is this really normal for a beginner magic user?

I was in deep thought thinking about my skills and battle points. That I did not notice I fell asleep.

After I regained my energy. I stand up and look for a food to eat since the sun starting to set.

"I need to look for a food and shelter before it gets really dark in the forest."

As I walked deeper in the forest. I saw an abandoned house.

"Lucky! I can use this house as my home for the meantime."

I inspect the whole house If there are anything I can still use and I place them aside so I can clean and reuse it. I heard a sound of a water. Listening to the sound my feet brought me to a fall. The water is so clear.

"Is this a reward for me after fighting those wolves?" I asked and look above and smiled. I created a fire so I can cook a fish that I caught on the river near the house. I also saw a fruit tree on my way here so I grab some and plan to restock it. After eating, I continue the cleaning of the house.

"Ahhhhh done! I'm really exhausted." My body and eyes feel heavy and everything went black.

the next morning.

I prepare for my thing and gone to the forest. I saw a dungeon look-a-like entrance. It looks dangerous but I should take a risk to explore more about this world.

"What the hell is this magic power I sense?" I can feel the enormous magic just by standing at the entrance of this dungeon. Got chill all over my body.

"I need to survive no matter what. Just a couple of safe floors I guess?" Tryin to convince myself.

I walked down the stairs leading me to a long dark hallway, ahead was a gold door wait for me. I walk slowly and be wary of my surrounding. There might be a trap here since it's a dungeon after all.

I am not that far from the entrance but there are a group of bats. "What?! WHATTTTTT?!!!!!! A GIANT BAT AT THE ENTRANCE?!!!!!!" I am shocked to see this monster!

"Appraise Monster!"

NAME: GIANT BAT

"I can endure few of these but a hundred of bats is really tiring" I haven't killed the bats yet I feel like I'm already exhausted from thinking of killing all of these.

I snapped from reality when 5 of the bats attacked me. I manage to dodge and kills three at a time.

"I should endure this; I might get another skills or experience." I am in a defense and offense position, ready to attack enemy anytime.

Then all of a sudden, they all attacked me at once! "What the hell!?" I muttered. I master up my courage and fight them until one bat stand. I hurriedly grab a potion and drink it o regain my stamina and magic power.

The last bat that was standing in front of me was way bigger than the once I fought. It must be the General or the Boss.

"Appraise Monster" I said in a low voice.

NAME: Acerodon

MP: 800

Indeed, it was way bigger and much more powerful than the Giant Bat. I should use fire to deal with this one.

The Acerodon initiate to start the attacked! It started to release a noise that's unbearable to hear. A thin tune that can kill due to its high tone.

I decided to overcome it and focus on release a magic attacked. I can feel the mana coming through my hand and releases a fire. A mix combination of red and blue.

"Abyss Pyre! YAAAAAHHHHH!" I said aloud and throw it to the Acerodon. I continuously attacked it with fire until the Acerodon's body was burning in flames.

I am lost in seeing how the Acerodon burned its body slowly from my magic spell when a notification pops up.

"CONGRATULATIONS ON DEFEATING THE GIANT BAT!"

"Battle Points has increase +3500, Basic Stats has increase +250"

"CONGRATUALTIONS ON DEFEATING THE ACERODON!"

"Battle Points has increase +8000, Basic Stats has increase +500"

"New skills acquired, Night Vision: A magic spell that allows you to see clearly at night."

"Wow, it's worth pain in the ass to kill such monsters in a dungeon if I get new skills." I spoke.

When the Acerodon turns into ashes, I collected it and the other gems that has been dropped from the body of the other Giant Bats.

It seems that whenever you kill a Dungeon Monster and Higher Rank Monster it drops a material or items for enhancement.

After collecting all the materials that I think will sell in a good value, I decided to continue passing through the door. It did not take long for me to arrive in front of the door.

"This door seems so heavy." The door suddenly opens when I approached to touched it.

There was a big vacant room. when I enter the room, all of the torched lit up. I am amazed, it really looks like a boss lair. "Is there some High Rank Monster that will appear?" I jokingly thought.

I did not expect to receive a surprise attacked. I sigh "Good thing I averted all those killing lasers."

One Cubic Golem appear in front of me. "Where this came from? I did not notice it when I enter this room!" I ask to myself. Geez! I was being careless of my surrounding.

"Appraise Monster!" I hurriedly said and checked its level.

NAME: Menamog [Stone Golem]

LEVEL: 15

HP: 1000

MP: 1000

"Wow, does this dungeon have a high-level monster that can kill me in one snap?" gggrrrrrr. I got goose bump thinking about it.

"I did not move. Observing the whole place if there are any golem. I started to check the Menamog in front of me. A huge golem, it has a crystal on its center part." I supposed it was the one who support the rocks to form a shaped and attacked.

I grab my dagger and boost up my speed so I cannot be hit by the laser it releases. Trying a couple of times before I can barely scratch the gem in the middle. Then I saw something off. A small crystal balls. I am confused now which one to target, but then I realized that the crystal on the center must be nothing to do on the golem itself. It must be a decoy to think that is the right spot to kill this Menamog.

"One more time, try to aim at the small crystal ball." I muttered and begun to attacked once more. Then it got cracked and the Menamog reacted. Jackpot! I hit it a few more time before it cracked into pieces. I remain my distance from it and watch as how it collapse on the floor.

Another notification has appeared.

"CONGRATULATIONS ON DEFEATING THE MENAMOG!"

"Special Skill under Shadow Summoner acquired, Golem Shadow Knight: Able to summon high rank Menamog."

"Wow! This is the best." I stated. "I should go back home for now and rest." I'll be back! This dungeon is really amazing. My gamer heart is overjoyed. Forgetting that I was reincarnated in another world.

When I arrived at the entrance, it was already dark. Did I stay led that long inside that dungeon? I did not notice it.

As I went home, I put the materials I gathered on the dungeon and slump my body on my bed. What a tiring day it is.

I was thinking that I should was myself and eat dinner but I doze off to sleep.

The next morning, I decided to enter the dungeon again.

Killing Orc and Orc Lord gain me strength for my combat ability. Adding another battle points.

The next day I went and encounter some Tarratec which is the disciple of their Tarratec Queen.

And again, A Beezlebub that release acid.

And the last day was when I encounter a Dragon! I manage to create a contract with the dragon since I have the summoner skill. The dragon is a black dragon that releases dark flame and contains a massive magical power.

All the Top-Tier monster I fought. I made them into my Shadow Knight. How lucky I could be.
