Chapter 10 – The Royal Palace

After having dinner with them, I went back to the Royal Palace to report to his highness about with regards to the matter that Rouben and Alfhere sent earlier.
Usually, his highness will not interfere with them since he trusts them so much. To the point that he let the decision to them. This matter should be well observed so that no future disaster or bad occurrences might happen.
I believe that if we have an alliance with those people, the palace will benefit more. The aura and skills they give off is something we must take into consideration.
"Your highness, this is Tim." Present myself as I knock on the door.
I am in front of his highness office, reporting on what happen on today's dinner.
"You may come in Tim." He granted me a permission to come in.
"I have come to report about today's event." I told him.
"I see, you may speak." He commands.
"I directly went to Alfhere's office to wait for Rouben. Since they planned something beforehand, we manage to have a dinner with the people that's written on the letter." I told him.
"Upon waiting on the front gate, the people named Ed Douma and Rogziel Douma was acquainted with them. Further investigation said that these help the old man named Ed on his way to the Royal Capital as he encounters some problem." I added.
"Rouben came to the meeting place together with the people mentioned on the letter. Two of them are a Dual-Class user. The other one said to be a Single-Class user but I think that she's just hiding her true power. After observing, she has a great sense for physical and magical combat."
"They take in the son of Ed Douma, named Rogziel Douma to be part of their group for subjugating quest. Those two people that are a Dual-Class user named Kezef and Fria but they go by the name as Jingo and Scythe. The one that they call sister is the leader and named Calypso. We also encounter an assassin while we eat, she swiftly kills it without even looking. Looking on how she handles it easily and the people she's with does not mind and preventing her from going on berserk is something we must not ignore." I explained my observation.
"Do you think that we must take action now or let's wait for further details before talking to them?" His highness Sebastian asks me.
"I think, we should observe first and create an opportunity to acquire their trust. It will benefit us." That's my opinion on this matter.
"Alright, I'll contact Rouben and Alfhere some other time. What is status on the east forest?" He asks.
"The movements on the east were stagnant because of the encounter from our knights last time. But we must be wary as demons are very cunning." I said to him.
"Alright, let me know some other time about this matter. You may leave now and rest." He said and I left the office.
[Calypso]
We are now heading back to the capital since we're done with the quest. It's still early, so I asked them to eat lunch after submitting the materials as proof of completing the quest.
"I'll teach you how to form a contract with your weapon. Let's do that tomorrow." I suddenly talk to him.
"I will be glad to learn how. Does Fria and Kezef have formed a contract with their weapon as well?" He asks me.
"Yes! We already did before going in the capital. Do you know that we have trained on the forest?" Fria suddenly joined us.
"Indeed! That was a hell of a week training. I don't want to remember that. Though it really paid off." Kezef joined us as well.
"See, I made you do minimal than what I have ask them to do when I trained them. Consider yourself lucky!" I said and grin.
He looked pale when I gazed on him.
"HAHAHA! Honey, do not fret as it will benefit you so bear with it." Fria console him.
"Yes! Yes! You need to keep up with us as every day we train ourself to improve more." Kezef said.
"I'll try my best to improve so I will not become a hindrance to you all." Rogziel said with determination. That's the spirit my dear!
Adventurer's Guild
We are now at the adventurer's guild and we gave them the materials we acquire from the quest a while ago.
People started to gather again around us. Some of them loos envious and some of them gave of an amazement to their face's expressions.
Few smug looks are glancing on our side. But I did not give a shit about them.
"This is the proof you need right?" I ask and shown them the monsters remain as proof.
"Yes, lease give us a moment to process and prepare your compensation for these quests." She said and write something on a paper.
"Do you have other materials you want to sell? We are affiliated with the merchant's guild so we also bought materials from the team who finishes a quest or a top tier subjugation." She explains to me.
"Ahhh then...'' I said and rummage the dimensional storage and bring out the other monster remains. "We would like to sell all of these as well." I said and look to my side as Fria, Kezef and Rogziel stands.
"I'll sell these as well, is that all right with you guys?" I asked the three of them. They just nodded in agreement.
"Please wait here I'll process the payment right away." She said and prepare it herself.
We are waiting for the lady to finish the preparations so I talk to them for a while.
"Where would you like to eat lunch? The food last time is good." I ask them.
"I want to eat some skewers!" Fria said.
"After eating do you want to buy something afterwards?" I ask again.
"Let's see while eating if ever there comes to mind, we can definitely visit the store." Kezef said.
"Rogziel Honey, what would you like to eat? Do you have any place in mind that has a good food?" Fria ask him.
"There's a place called The Passim, they have lot's different food variety you can choose from. They sell pastries as well." He spoke. "The price for the food was not that high as well, it's not that far from the guild." He also added.
"I would like to have a pasta and a garlic bread for lunch." I said it our aloud.
"Then I will guide you to that place so we can try their food." Rogziel offer.
"Thank you, bro! I want to eat meat and veggies!" Kezef spoke in excitement.
"Thank you for waiting, the preparations are done. As we have accumulated all of the materials you want to sell and the proof for your quest completion. The amount for the materials sold is 150 Nol Gold. The compensation for quest is 1000 Nol Gold. A total of 1150 Nol Gold. Here, please sign here." She places a paper as if it was an agreement about the payment we received. I signed in and get the money.
"How much would you like to share the compensation we get?" I ask them.
"You can handle the finances sis." Kezef said.
"Rogziel what is your opinion?" I ask him.
"You can give us money that we can spend. Then save a few for funds that we can used in the future." Rogziel said.
"Are you giving money to Uncle Ed?" Fria ask him.
"Ahh right, I'll be dividing the money to all of us then it's up to you where will you use it." I said and counter and divided it into four.
"Each person will be received 285 Nol Gold, the remaining will be used for our food for today. Is that alright?" I suggested.
"Yes. It's alright sis." "Yes sis." "No problem with that sis." The three of them agreed.
As soon as we arrived at the place that Rogziel suggested. One of the waitresses assist us.
"A table for four, please come this way." She said and lead us to the table. She handed over a menu as well so we can choose what food we would like to order.
As I checked the menu, I handed it over to them so they can choose the food.
"I would like to get a Meto Pasta, Garlic Bread, Ginger Ale, and Strawberry tart for desert Please bring Apple Tea as well." I said to the waitress and she take note of my order.
The waitress leaves after getting all of our orders. It will take a time since we ordered quite a lot. Well, these three deserved to eat a lot since they work hard today.
There's a new title added. Let's check my status now. Appraisal.

"Should I create one so you can regularly monitor your skill status?" I ask them.
"WHAT?! Can you make an appraisal artifact?" They said in unison.
"Yeah, I have a new skill that can create artifacts." I said casually. They look dumb founded on my remark.
"WOW! You never fail to amazed me sis!" Fria and Kezef said. While Rogziel nod.
"Then I'll make one for each of you. This is a secret so do not tell anyone about this, okay?" I told them that this will be a secret to kept. And they all agreed to it.
