Against the World: The last Monapart

No one with the name Monapart could ever use magic. But no Monapart ever cared about it. They were always the strongest of them all. Each one stronger than the last. The world couldn't accept their existence. When the strongest Monapart died, they swore to never let another one get stronger again. Every human, beast, and demon would be killed at the mere mention of the name... But time passes, and soon, they forgot. "Curses...Curses... The fucking curses! They were the rage, the fear, and the embodiment of someone's will, so why?! Why all of them are made to kill everything?!" Said the first Monapart. But the curse in front of him didn't answer, it just stared at him smiling like always. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- When he was born, he didn't cry, nor made any kind of sound in the process, but no one cared for him enough to notice. After just two days of life, he opened his eyes. An unusual thing as babies usually need at least a month to do so. His green eyes moved wildly looking at every corner of his room with deep curiosity, but not understanding anything in his view. He still couldn't understand the concept of 'thing' yet, but that changed after one month of life. After one month, he understood he was alive and most of the things in the room weren't. He still couldn't put it in words but he clearly knew that he was way different than the chair next to him. The speed of his understanding was outstanding. Sadly, in his sixth month of life, while he was asleep, flames covered his entire room and himself. It didn't take even a second and all the room turned into ashes. The baby didn't die as expected, but he was no longer in the dark room. [ Curse received: Heart offering ] . . [ Heart offering: Once per day the curse bearer will lose one of his five senses until he loses everything or dies ] . . [ Heart offering is taking effect ] . . [ Sense of hearing lost] ----------------------------------------------------------------------- -At least one chapter of 1000 words a day -If you don't like the start, I guess chapter 21 is a good one to jump to but you will still feel a little lost -If you find any error, please comment on it and I will fix it -I hope you like it

I woke up, still down on the floor lying in a tree. Blue windows blocked my sight. After reading them, I felt my weakness again.

'I pushed myself so much just to kill one and now I have to kill more 99?'

*sigh*

'I need to get stronger'

'Maybe this Exp can make me stronger? It doesn't look like it'

'Achievements seem nice, but they don't tell me what to do until I complete them'

'What is the Bestiary?'

[ Bestiary ]

[ ( MoonRabbit ): The legend says the animal 'rabbit' evolved from the light of a Blood Moon and became a very aggressive monster ]

[*Traits: The horn in its head serves as a natural detector that senses sound waves. Its legs are extremely dangerous as they are its primary form of attack, but its principal ability is reproduction. They usually walk in groups of three. Note: the ones alone are children that are going to start a new family ]

[*Weakness: It's blind and deaf, the only way of discernment is by the sound waves received from the horn. Note: break the horn ]

[*Behavior: Hostile ]

'Now that is useful'

I spent some time thinking about how to kill rabbits in the safest and most efficient way.

When I recovered enough to stand up, I decided to find a place to settle down and make a place to rest.

Walking for some time, I found a cave. It was really small. If I wanted to fill it with glass sculptures like last time it wouldn't work. But it was enough to sleep away from the rain and hide from monsters.

I memorized the location and started searching for rabbits. when I found one, it was alone, eating the body of a big frog. I approached carefully. The purple forest was much denser and harder to remain quiet, there were many twigs and rocks in the way so I slowly got to the back of the rabbit.

I picked up a rock and threw it at a tree. It made a loud sound in the soundless forest making the rabbit turn. With a jump, it attacked in the direction of the sound. The attack passed close to my right and pierced the tree. The horn was buried deep in the tree, and the rabbit became stuck. I quickly went next to it and stabbed the head.

'They are way dumber than I assumed. It always does a powerful thrust with a jump at any loud noise. I wonder how it survived until now. Maybe they just reproduce too fast'

I picked up the rabbit's body and removed the horns, skin, and meat. I was used to doing it because of fishing.

With the skin and some grass ropes, I made a bag and then put all the rest in it.

I went back to my little shelter, made a fire, and with some rocks, I craved a plate to cook. I learned you have to burn food a little before eating in a book, I still don't know why. I ate everything raw once but nothing happened.

After eating, I picked up the horn, I couldn't make a knife out of it so I made some more ropes, and found a large branch. Then I tied the horn at the end of the branch making a spear.

Now, getting excited, I left to hunt again. I passed all day searching, being careful to not just die from a surprise attack.

I then found a group of three rabbits, they were sleeping in a broad hole. I went very close to the back of one of them, picked a rock, and threw it with all my strength at a tree close to the other two rabbits.

I timed my attack with the sound of the rock crashing into the tree and pierced the head of the rabbit. About the other two, one got stuck in the tree, and the other just kicked the tree and realized it wasn't an enemy, becoming confused.

Then with a quick dash, I pieced the neck of the confused rabbit, and not missing any second, I stabbed the one stuck at the tree too. After some seconds, both died from blood loss.

'Nice, I am going well. No new injury this time. Just 95 more' I thought with a helpless smile on my face.

I made two more bags and stored the rest of the useful materials. Then I went back to the shelter, ate, and went to sleep. In the morning, I made another spear and prepared some food for the hunt.

"Now, I'm killing animals just for the sake of killing. Not for eating, just to fulfill what the system told me to do. Maybe I don't have the right to get revenge..."

"well...I will find out when I kill them"

I went deeper into the forest and searched for more rabbits.

I encountered and killed two groups of rabbits.

The next day I killed five, the next six, then five again, and after some more days passed, I received a new message.
