Spirit

He Lin gulped and slowly approached the Tree of Life stopping in front of it and turned his head towards Seth.

Seth nodded his head and said "Just touch any part of the tree and start absorbing it, don't stop even if you are about to explode because I will be here to help you."

"I understand Master." He Lin closed his eyes and placed both of his hands on the stem of the tree and started absorbing.

"A wood spirit? No, you are a royalty!"

While absorbing the tree He Lin suddenly heard a voice, he stared at the tree because he felt that the voice was coming from there.

"Who are you?" He Lin asked making Seth frown.

"Did he became an idiot?" Seth thought while continuing observing He Lin.

"As you can see I am the spirit of the Tree of Life."

He Lin upon hearing that it was the spirit of the Tree of Life suddenly stopped absorbing and said in a hurried tone.

"Ah! I'm so sorry. I tried abosrbing you just now."

A soft chuckle could be heard by everyone "Ufufu, you are really befitting of being a royalty. A kind and merciful wood spirit that can undoubtly lead his race from the brink of extinction."

He Lin was now confused as to who this spirit is because she knows all about their race.

Seeing the confused look on He Lin's face the Spirit said in a soft tone. "Child, continue on absorbing my life essence it will greatly help you on achieving your dream. I am but an old spirit that can only wait to die so it is better for you to absorb rather than me getting lost in time."

Hearing the spirit's voice He Lin took a step back and was about to speak when suddenly he heard his Master's stern voice from behind.

"Stop hesitating the spirit already agreed, It will be disrespectful to decline so continue on absorbing the Tree of Life and fulfill your wish on making a place where you race can live happily and safely. and in order to achieve that you need strength to be able to fend all those evil people from trying to snatch your clans men because of greed."

He Lin trembled, he closed his eyes and touched the tree with his left hand and said "I'm sorry for taking your life spirit of the Tree of Life but I must get stronger in order for my race to not suffer anymore humiliation."

The spirit of the Tree of Life didn't spoke but you can see a silhouette of a female wood spirit with a crown on her head smiling towards He Lin.

He Lin continued on absorbing the tree with tears on his eyes and didn't saw the silhouette that Seth and the others saw.

After a few hours the Tree of Life suddenly withered, He Lin retracted his arm and sat down bellow the withered tree with a green light enveloping around him.

Seeing this Seth smiled because He Lin finally absorbed the tree and is now trying to break through.

He then glanced at Qianye Ying'er and said "Hey little chick come here and give me a back massage." Seth then summoned a massage bed and laid down.

Qianye Ying'er mouth twitched seeing this but she can't disobey so she slowly approached Seth who already took off his shirt and started massaging him even though she hand never tried this before.

(To think he will be the first and only guy that will receive a massage from me hmp! what a lucky bastard) Qianye Ying'er thought and continued on massaging Seth's back.

Gu Zhu could only smile wearily seeing the young miss massaging another man.
