Modern Love Story between Feng Jiu and Dong Hua (Eternal Love of Dream Fanfiction)

Disclaimer:

This is purely a fanfiction based on Eternal Love of Dream drama series/Ten Miles Pillow Book Novel written by Tang Qi Gong Zi. Their storyline would be similar to their novel but with a modern twist. This is my first time writing a novel.

Synopsis:

Dong Hua saved Feng Jiu's life when she met him for the first time. She was determined to repay his kindness. She gradually fell in love with Dong Hua, a person who is indifferent to everyone and everything and doesn't understand the meaning of love, in the process of repaying her gratitude. Feng Jiu loves Dong Hua but he doesn't know about her feelings and what she did for him. When Feng Jiu finally decided to move on, Dong Hua starts to notices her. He thought she was interesting at first but he comes to realize that he has unknowingly fallen deeply in love with her.

But was it too late?

Flashback to Ancient times, Dong Hua Di Jun summoned the Elderly Fairy guarding the Stone of Destiny to inquire about his fate with Feng Jiu. The Elderly Fairy said that they have no fate. To go against fate, it will be a hard journey with hurdles and obstacles. However, the Elderly Fairy said that Destiny could change anytime. Dong Hua and Feng Jiu lived so many lifetimes without being able to be together. Would they finally be together this lifetime?

Feng Jiu

22 years old

Final year student in Qing University

Feng Jiu has a childish personality that she only reveals to those close to her. She is the only child and grew up with love from everyone around her. Very loyal to friends. She tries her best to protect those she cared about, despite hurting herself in the process. She has a big heart and is kind to everyone she meets.

Past Life: The youngest ruler of one of Qing Qiu's territories, Feng Jiu is the only known nine-tailed red fox in the world.

Dong Hua

28 years old

President of Tai Chen Group (China's biggest Multinational Corporation)

Dong Hua grew up being an orphan so he is very cold towards everyone. He thinks that being aloof and detached is the only way to protect himself. He has trust issues, mainly due to his bad childhood past. Deep inside, he longed for someone to love him and would be there for him no matter what happens.

Past Life: Known as Di Jun, a title held only by a few highly known and revered ancient deities in the novel universe, Dong Hua was the first emperor of the Heaven Clan, the man who united the world.

Cha Cha - Feng Jiu's Best friend No.1

Cheng Yu - Feng Jiu's Best friend No.2, Lian Song's love interest.

Lian Song - Di Jun's close friend, harbors a crush on Cheng Yu. Executive Manager at Tai Chen Group.

Chong Lin - Di Jun's Personal assistant and right-hand man.

Si Ming - Di Jun's good friend of both Feng Jiu and Dong Hua.

Miao Luo - CEO of Mo Jie International, Rival company of Tai Chen Group.

Ji Heng - Feng Jiu's love rival, one-sided love for Dong Hua.

Yan Chiwu - Feng Jiu's good friend, one-sided love for Ji Heng.

Ye Qingti - Feng Jiu's classmate, harbors a crush on Feng Jiu.
