33. Suicide? (Trial)

Ok guys this is a trial chapter tell me if this matches the standard

"According to the news we got it says that Ye Chen couldn't handle the pressure of the criticism he had faced and jumped off a building commuting suicide"

Alfred said as he summarised the news that is going around the internet.

Ye Chen's suicide caused a great commotion and the people who criticised him on the internet started to feel guilty and apologised, the media also highlighted the fact of people's fault in this and government too released the statement on the public's misuse of internet in these matters.

"And what's the truth Alfred"

Knowing Ye Chen I am sure that he may be broken at this time as his everything has been destroyed and his wives also slowly started to lose their interest in him but committing suicide because of this, Nah only a fool would believe in that.

No matter how big of an idiot he is, he has been trained by Lin Fan in a very strict manner, the opinion of the public should not be enough to make him attempt suicide.

On the top of a bridge over the river Ye Chen stood calmly smoking his cigarettes, his face was hidden by a mask and was wearing his usual 'low key' clothes.

He looked down on his watch from time to time and while resting his hands on the railing putting his own weight on them as he looked down at the fast flowing current of the river.

As he was looking down in order to pass his time he felt something was wrong and was just about to move from the place he stood, but unfortunately for him his luck has already left him and was unable to protect him from a bullet which hit him and he fell into the river.

"Who was it?"

"On it sir, sir it was Tian Yangzi who shot him"

Tian Yangzi was one of the villains in the middle part of the novel, he was a successful businessman with a happy family but one day his spoilt son provoked Ye Chen which resulted in his whole hard earned success to lose in one night along with the death of his son and wife who loved his son dearly.

Losing everything Tian Yangzi wanted his revenge badly but was unable to as he never got any chance but after devising a plan he was able to get Ye Chen to meet him here under a fake name in order to assassinate him and was succeeded.

"So is Ye Chen truly dead?"

Lucifer muttered to himself looking at Ye Chen falling into the river and drowning.

"Not yet sir"

"Hmm?"

"I had a check on his vitals through the bionanorobots which were injected inside on him from before and found out that Ye Chen is still alive but is currently in coma "

'So he survived' Looks like the ex protagonist is still lucky, Alfred should have his memories related to Ye Chen from before deleted, but it wasn't truly deleted and Lucifer had them recovered after knowing Ye Chen is aiming for his head.

"So where is he now"

A holographic screen appeared in front of me which showed a live satellite feed of the river.

"According to the signals this should be the place he should be present in"

"How can he be alive inside a river. Huh? Alfred zoom in here a bit"

"Yes Sir"

The satellite image of inside the water was also clearly visible because of his advanced design and as instructed Alfred zoomed in and found a natural cave formed there.

"Alfred send a drone to explore the inside of this cave"

"Yes Sir"

Alfred did as he was instructed and deployed a drone capable of flying as well as underwater exploration to the cave.
