The Little Guy's Change

Su Nan didn't know how long she had slept. She only knew that when she woke up, it was quite late.

The air conditioner was still working tirelessly to cool down the room. She scratched her hair, and the scene of her drinking the night before flashed in her mind intermittently. The rest of it was a blur.

She felt dizzy. This was the sequela of a hangover.

"Who changed my clothes and showered me?" Su Nan held her still slightly drowsy head. She found that her whole body felt very refreshed. There was no sense of discomfort, and she had even changed into her pajamas.

She didn't think that she could still take care of herself when she was as drunk as a dead dog.

She tried hard to recall what happened, but all she got was a throbbing pain in her temples.

Suddenly, Su Huai emerged from the bedside and said, "Mommy, you're up."

He had actually come in a long time ago and had been squatting on the ground while playing with the toy car. He only got up when he heard Su Nan sit up.

Su Nan was so startled that she almost jumped up from the bed!

She patted her chest, but she was still in shock. "Why did you suddenly appear? You scared me to death!"

"Mommy, you slept until 10:30 today. Did you sleep very comfortably last night?" Su Huai asked curiously as he stood by the bed. He was blinking his big dark eyes while holding a toy car in his hand.

Su Nan didn't know why Su Huai would care. She slept well, but she felt a little sore all over her body. She replied, "It was okay. I just feel dizzy and my back aches."

Su Huai suddenly looked at her in a meaningful way, as if he had suddenly realized something. "Oh..."

The usually obedient and quiet little guy could think of ways to learn everything on his own. He rarely showed such a curious expression. Su Nan couldn't remember how long it had been since she had seen her son look like this.

Her heart softened. She felt that her son was too cute!!

Su Nan got up from the bed and hugged Su Huai. She kissed his chubby little face and then put her hand under his armpit while revealing a wicked smile, "Baby, are you hiding something from Mommy? If you don't tell me, I'll tickle you!"

As she said this, she touched him.

Su Huai was afraid of his mommy tickling him. He had already started giggling.

"Mommy, I'm not hiding anything from you. It's just that you and Daddy came back very late last night and even slept together. You didn't even check on me. I was very curious!" Su Huai quickly replied.

Su Nan immediately stopped moving and looked confused. "Me and your daddy?"

Su Huai quickly took two steps back and stayed away because he was afraid that Su Nan would tickle him again. He nodded his head seriously. "Yes, Mommy, Don't you remember? It was Daddy who carried you back!"

Su Huai, who hadn't fallen asleep, heard the sound and came out to take a look. He just happened to see his daddy carrying his mommy into the master bedroom.

With Su Huai's reminder, Su Nan's memory of the blackout from last night finally came back. It included the scene where she wrapped her arm around another person's neck in the bar and coquettishly asked the other person to bring her home.

F * ck! It was so embarrassing!

Su Nan slapped her forehead while feeling too ashamed to see anyone.

But soon, her embarrassment was replaced by anger. Lu Jin, that b*stard, took the money she gave him and went out to eat, drink, and flirt with other women. He didn't take the agreement he signed seriously at all!

She had to teach him a lesson!

Just as Su Nan was about to walk out, she found Lu Jin standing at the door. She didn't know how long he had been standing there.

"Go down and eat." In fact, Lu Jin had come up a long time ago, but he didn't interrupt when he saw the mother and son playing.

Su Huai immediately said, "Mommy, hurry up and go down for breakfast. I've already eaten the sandwich and eggs that Daddy made. I'm going to play with the toys!"

He didn't want to be a third wheel. His daddy and mommy's relationship seemed to be getting better, so he had to think of ways to continue improving it.

Su Nan looked at the little kid that was skipping away, and she was speechless. What was wrong with Su Huai? She had never seen him so lively before.

It seemed that ever since Lu Jin appeared, the little boy's personality had started to change.

In the past, he was always secretly sad that he didn't have a father. He didn't even tell anyone when he got bullied. Now that he finally had his own father, he became more cheerful and lively.

As expected, a father was very important to every child's growth.

Thinking of this, she felt that Lu Jin wasn't that bad, since at least the child was happy.
