Chapter six:The date

"hello"Beaty picked her call with out checking the caller

"Beaky come pick me up from my private airway in half an hour" James cold voice came through the phone.Beaty almost threw her phone away but responded after a few seconds "James mmh s..s.. sir am.. coming"

Beaty stammered but didn't hear any voice from the phone and remove it from her ear to check whether the call is still connected only to realise the call has ended two minutes ago ,she sign and entered her car and drove off

Few minutes later she arrived at the airway and saw James standing by the side looking at her coldly,she approached him but before she can talk James said "let's go"

A hour later

"Joseph pull over"

"Yes sir"

"Big head have you eaten"James asked Beaty

"No"

"Then get out"

"What"Beaty asked at James with wide eyes

James just looked at her and get off the car him self and walked around and dragged Beaty out of the

"Sir should I wait"

"No Joseph you can leave now"

Barry at James in confusion and said "but james I..we..." James looked at her and said "am hungry"

Beaty become more,what h been hungry have to do with dragging her out of the car.James seeing Beaty looking like a fool dragged her into a room on the second second floor

"Sit"

Beaty looked at James suspiciously contemplating on what's going on with him"Hmm could him be thinking of drugging me and dumping me some where in the middle of the sea" few seconds later she shook her "no no no that very unlikely or oh no he is finally going to fire me"

All the while she has been unknowingly starring at James intently,James looked at her and chuckled thinking to him self isn't she so cute with her big bulb like eyes

"You can eat now"James said drawing Beaty out of her imagination,it was now that Beaty noticed she's been starring at he like a fool and cheeks turned red in embarassment

"Oh "she replied and buried her head in her food

James starred at her face for a while and continued "Big head what do you say in us granting grandma's wishes"

"Grandma's wishes" Beaty said looking at him puzzled

"Us getting married"

Beaty looked at him and bust out laughing "is this a joke"

"No am dead serious "

Beaty was stunned and her mouth hunged open with wide eyes

"James I thought you never wanted to get married"

"If it's with you I don't mind"James shrugged looking at her indifferently but Beaty having grown up with him knows when he is serious and right now he is frighteningly serious

"If you like we can start from dating I don't mind"

"Oh yeah"Beaty said looking absent minded

James looked at her and smirked.

Thirty minutes later they walked out of the restaurant holding hands with the guy smirking and the lady looking lost

James sent her home and kissed her forehead "see you tomorrow"

Beaty just wavedat him still in a daze and went upstairs to her room.james looking in the direction she left and head out of their gate

Joseph was already outside waiting from his order standing by the side of the car

"Drive to the house"

"Yes sir"

"Oh James you are back from your trip and instead of coming back to accompanying your mom you went on a date with that dead girl "Mrs cliffs immediately begin complaining as soon as James entered the door

James looked around and not seeing the person he was looking for looking at the butler,the butler noticed his gaze and explain"the old lady has been weak for sometime now and the doctor advised her to retire early, she's already asleep"

"Hmmm"James replied and start walking towards the staircase ignoring his mother

On seeing this Mrs cliffs was so angry and called out to him "James ...James am talking to you "James didn't turn back but keep on walking.

Mrs cliffs stomped her foot and went out to the balcony to make a phone call

"Mrs Don why is there no progress between your daughter and my son's relationship"

"He he my friend don't rush the children let the take their time getting to know each other"

"Hmm my son is already going on a date with that little witch and your daughter is still taking her the doing what exactly"Mrs cliffs said with a chest heaving up and down

Purity is the daughter-in-law she arranged for Gerson because she is from a good background,she is beautiful and will give her a handsome grand son,her mother is her friend and she even know how to please her not Beaty who to her is a white eye wolf rise by her family

"What did you just say"

"Of course it is exactly what you heard your daughter betterove fast before it's too late"Mrs cliffs sneered and cut the call

She stared out of the balcony and start thinking"it is better I start looking for a plan B I can't trust that purity can hook James Hmm I have to start looking for another girl to avoid putting all my egg in one plate "

She start concerning this plane and few seconds later she nodded that it is indeed good to have backup at least any one else is good as far as that person is not Beaty

She left the balcony and called the butler

" Am having a tea party here at the house next week Sunday prepare for it a send out the Invitations to all the upperclass ladies"

"Yes Mrs cliffs"

"Go"

Mrs cliffs want to use this tea party as a means to find a proper lady from the upperclass family who match his son as a good marriage partner since Purity can't even catch James eye she would make sure the she will find a very beautiful and classy lady who James can not say no to.
