The wedding Feast

After the wedding ceremony, Lisa escorted me to get changed. I couldn't wait to get off the dress. I got to the waiting room .

" Child what are you still doing here? " queen Beth asked

" ohh....I'm getting changed for the feast" I said.

" you are no longer a guest you are my daughter so please go to your chambers " she said.

I was so anxious to see how my new chamber looked like. we got there. it was very large .

" my lady, this is much wider than your chambers at Pesteracia" Lisa said.

It had a large wardrobe for all my dresses . Lisa went to get all my stuff from the waiting room.

"can I come in dear?" Queen Beth asked

"of course mother" I said

" mother?? ohh...child you flatter me....your handmaid what's her name?"

"Lisa"

" yes....Lisa , she told me you weren't used to dresses so I had some other wears made for you they will be brought up to you soon and also I've assigned some maids to you they'll be Loyal to only you from now so get used to them"

" Thank you mother" I said

"now get ready and come to the feast" she said as she left.

The maids came to my chambers. They helped me get ready. They seemed nice. They made some jokes as I got ready. I laughed really hard.

" my lady you look more stunning " said a maid.

" thank you " I said

" it seems like anything you wear fits you perfectly more than anyone else " said another maid

" you all are too nice " I said.

Lisa entered the room and they bowed their heads for her

" no no I am also a maid" Lisa said.

" you are our lady's chief maid so we ought to respect you and anything you say " a maid said.

" you've earned it Lisa" I said.

Lisa was excited by this. she gave me a hug . She was not just a maid to everyone again.

" ok you guys can take your leave I'll send for you guys if the lady needs anything " Lisa said as they left

"look at you madame Lisa giving commands " I said playfully

" it suits me right? " Lisa asked

" yes madame " I said

We both laughed as we made our way to the feast hall.

" I hope we don't get lost in this huge palace " Lisa said. we laughed again even harder.

Ivor approached us .

" do you mind leaving us alone" Ivor asked Lisa .

Lisa winked at me as she left.

" ummm ... where do I start? yes the kiss..." he said

" I understand Ivor it meant nothing it's just a formality.... got it" I said

" ohh.... okay so you felt noth...." he said

" I don't understand you " I said

" nevermind.....so let me show you the gift my mother made me arrange for you if you don't mind "

" of course " I said as we walked together.

He took me to the gardens. I saw a huge water fountain. it was very beautiful.

" I guess you like it with the way you're looking at it" he said

" yes of course thank you" I said

" well it's not a big deal all thanks to my mom" he said.

" sure sure I know you are not one to give gifts "I said.

He looked at me and smiled . I don't even know to think if it was a smile or he blushed. I had so many thoughts running through my mind.

I started controlling the fountain. I iced it by mistake.

" ohh no what have done "

" you forget your husband has fire powers" he said as he melted the ice back to water

That amazed me so much . It was nice to see people with other powers. now I'm going to be the only one with water and ice powers.

I sprayed him some water with my powers

" no princess don't play with me remember I could burn you" he said playfully

" and I'll quench myself" I said

" really" he said as he chased me round the fountain.

We ran around like children, we became drenched. I tripped and I fell and Ivor fell on top of me.

Staring at each other's eyes...

" umm umm ..." Queen Beth coughed.

We quickly stood up and went to our chambers. I got to mine

" what was that my lady?....I could see you, everyone could" Lisa said

" seriously?? ohh no..... My mother would scold me before she lives " I said.

" it was romantic my lady I think he loves you already , where'd I find my own prince charming"

" in your dreams Lisa and Ivor does not and will not ever even like me"

" ohh...he does you don't just see it yet" Lisa said.

She helped me get changed again and this time I headed straight to the feast hsaw all.

" I present to you Princess Aleera Grimwall, future queen of Kasaria" The announcer shouted as I entered the feast hall.

Ivor walked to me, took my hands and escorted me to our seats.

"I feel tired already" I said

" don't you think I am too?.... look at the way everyone is staring at us, they probably saw us in the gardens " he said.

We were served varieties of food, drinks and wine. Ivor had a lot of wine . His friends came to greet us.

" your wife is very pretty " his friend said

" thank you " I said.

" don't compliment my wife ever again James , your wife's waiting for you, run along " he said.

My heart was in fire what did he mean by this. More thoughts crossed my mind.

" it was just a compliment Ivor you didn't have to be so rude to him" I said.

"how'd you feel if I compliment his wife"

" you're drunk" I said

He continued drinking. My parents called me. it was time to say goodbye

" my dear child, I'll miss you a lot I know you think I won't and feel free to come home and visit" my mother said.

" Aleera these people might be dangerous so be careful" my father said.

" I will mom and dad , have a safe journey" I said as they left.

It was then I realized it was only me left, nobody to turn to . I was all alone, after what my father said I didn't know if I could trust anybody here. I have to think for myself now . I am now a Kasarian.
