The Royal Wedding

Five days passed so fast and " boom" it was my wedding day. My mother made all arrangements. My dress was made in Kasaria's royal silk from the silk queen Beth left me on my birthday.

Dresses were not my styles, My mum made sure that Lisa didn't pack any of my old clothes.

" mum would you please cut me some slack" I said.

"You are going to be Kasaria's queen soon, you cant wear those things you call clothes". my mother said

My dress was brought to my room. it was actually pretty but like I said dresses are not my thing. I don't know why weddings are such a big deal, it's literally just taking vows. Lisa helped me get ready.

" My lady you look magnificent" Lisa said.

"just one last touch" my mother said.

she used her powers to make water drops on my hair hanging and then I turned my tiara ice.

My mother is such a show off. why cant I just go with a normal hair, but I loved my final look though.

The royal bells rang.It was time. I was going to miss Pesteracia and everything about it so much.

"let's go Aleera" my mother said.

"Aleera!! " my father called out

"My dear princess I have something important to tell you" he said

I walked with him through the gardens.

"Aleera my dear, Pesteracia is dying winter is coming,it's going to be much colder soon our crops are dying" he said

"what do I need to do??" I asked very concerning.

" we need Kasaria and it's powers, you know what I need you to do, you are the hybrid and one day you will have to unlock all you powers to protect us ." he said

"You know what dad? I'm not afraid of you any longer you can't harm me because you need me and I'm never going to unlock all my powers because I am not your tool or weapon as from today I shall bear another last name so you don't own me " . I said.

" You forget you won't be the hybrid if not for me " he said.

" Dad for once be a father, I didn't ask to be the hybrid nor do I even want it you never made me feel normal all my life and as for pesteracia I will always protect it and it's people but I won't destroy another kingdom because of it" I said as I walked away

Never did I imagine that I'd say that to my father. but I did it. It felt good.

My mother was waiting for me outside the palace.

" what did your father say to you?" my mother asked

" nothing he was just sad that I'm leaving him" I said.

" get in your carriage we're almost late". she said.

I got in my carriage and the journey began. Outside the palace were pesteracians , they threw flowers on my carriage. I was going to miss Pesteracia. I waved them as we passed.

" I have a little gift for you Aleera" my mother said.

" another jewelry or something... no mother it's all enough I look okay" I said.

" it's Lisa I know you'll have new maids but I thought you will be more comfortable with her "

" really mom thank you " I said as I hugged her

I was really happy. I was going to miss my mom even if she was hard all along I knew she still cared after all I'm her daughter.

The journey to Kasaria seemed shorter than the last time. This time I was more confident. I'd have Lisa with me and a caring mother in law.

we arrived Kasaria, got to the palace. it was decorated beautifully. I couldn't stop looking.

King Adam and Queen Beth stood outside to welcome us. I looked around from my father's Carriage but I couldn't find it. Maybe I wouldn't have been too harsh.

My mother walked with me to the entrance .

" Your grace, Your grace " I said as I curtsied.

" ohh... you look lovely let's get you to the waiting room" Queen Beth said as we entered the palace.

She took me to the waiting room.it was also decorated beautifully.

" I made all these arrangements just for you do you like it? " she asked

"I love it " I replied

" now let me get some maids to get you your wedding dress "

" I don't understand isn't this my wedding dress? " I asked

" ohh no child do you think you'd wear silk for your wedding " she laughed as she left.

I wondered what could say wedding more than the silk I was wearing. I sat down and waited.

Someone knocked on the door

" should be my dress" I thought

"come in " I said as I pulled off my dress

" ohh I'm sorry I didn't know you were changing". the doors closed.

It was the prince.

" wow just the time". I said loudly

" you should have asked who it was you just said to come in" . he said

" what do you want " I asked rudely

"my mother said I should show you the gift she had me arrange for you after our wedding " he said

" okay....." I said

" and also you look pretty " he said as he left.

I smiled a little then I came back to my senses . of course it was just a compliment and no hard feelings but I couldn't stop thinking about it.

Someone knocked again

" I heard the first time Ivor ....gift.... after the wedding.....got it" I said.

" my lady it's Lisa I've brought your dress" she said as she opened the door.

I ran to hug Lisa. she was just what I needed, a friend.

" I see you and the prince getting along my lady " Lisa said teasingly

" ughhh....Lisa?" I said

" I'm sorry but I know you've started developing some feelings for him" she said.

I looked at Lisa angrily

" okay okay I'll stop Queen Beth told me to escort you as your bridesmaid so we both have to get ready " she said.

" that's fine but did you see other maids and also have you seen my father? I asked"

"Yeah I actually took your dress from them and sent them away and as for your father he's already here "

I was relieved ,I thought he won't come after all I said to him. who would have walked me down the aisle.

Lisa helped me into my dress. I also helped her get ready. The royal bells rang. it was time . Lisa linked our arms and we went to the wedding hall.

we got there and everybody stood up as I entered. Ivor was at the altar with the priest. Lisa walked to the altar, then my father took my hand and we walked down the aisle.

we got to the altar and he gave my hand to Ivor . Everybody sat down. The wedding started.

The priest started saying all the wedding stuff and it was time to take our vows.

" till death do us part" we concluded.

" I pronounce you Man and wife, you may now kiss the bride" the priest said.

I became anxious at that second I thought Ivor wouldn't kiss me. He pulled me close as he held my waist and he kissed me. The royal bells rang again and everyone stood up and applauded.

I was now a Kasarian princess, soon to be queen. what awaits me ? how'd I live my life now with a husband who told me he'd never love me? most importantly how'd I produce an heir?.
