Fly with me

I couldn't sleep the whole night. I was already imagining how Alivea would be. It was dawn already. I called for Lisa.

" Lisa run me a bath with scented flowers, I need to smell nice" . I said

" yes my lady" she said

" and prepare my travel dress for me we have to be on time" I said.

I had my bath very quickly. I was so anxious. I wasn't even this anxious on my wedding day.

" Lisa send a letter to my mother that I'll be traveling on my water dragon ,Hermia, tell her to have Hermia sent to me immediately and also tell her that I won't be stopping to greet her as my journey is a long one" I said.

Lisa wrote the letter. Hermia would've missed me a great deal. I'd have gone with my ice dragon, Quila but she won't survive the heat.

I got dressed and went outside. some court ladies, the king, the queen and Ivor were already there.

" wow princess .....you look comfy" Ivor said.

" I'll take that as a compliment " I said as we both went to say goodbye to the king and queen.

" goodbye mother " we said

" have fun child and Ivor I want twin grandchildren ones with resemblance to you both each so make it happen " queen Beth said.

" ha ha ha mother your jokes are good " I said as I laughed.

" I only want an heir to the throne " King Adam said.

"father my wife and I will leave now" Ivor said as we left.

" should you not be wearing a dress my lady, you are a Kasarian princess" Lady Joanna said .

" I'd wear whatever I like and I hope Hermia doesn't arrive now because she doesn't seem to like who I don't like " I said.

" Hermia?"

"scrahh .....scrahh" Hermia screeching

Hermia arrived right on time. We really are connected. She landed on the palace fields.

" you didn't tell me you sent for your dragon" Ivor said.

" I do what I want Ivor so do you don't you? or what was our agreement again?" I asked rhetorically.

Everybody seemed afraid. But King Adam seemed amazed.I think my father was right . He likes powerful things. His stare give me the impression that he wanted my dragon.

" don't worry everyone she's connected to my powers she won't harm any of you, Lady Joanna you were saying? " I said as I turned to lady Joanna.

" no... noth.... nothing my.....my lady " Lady Joanna said as she shivered in fear.

" good"

" should I be expecting your ice dragon?" ivor asked

"no, no, no, Ivor Quila can't survive in hot kingdoms" I said.

I walked into the fields and Hermia let down her wings to let me on her back. Then a thought came to me to ask Ivor to join me.

" Ivor, care to join me? " I asked

" umm.... I'd like to but didn't you say she's loyal to only you " Ivor said

" I control her so come hop on it'll be fun " I said.

" go Ivor, your wife insists" Queen Beth said.

" Ivor wait before you go...." King Adam said

" yes father "

" learn how she controls the beast " King Adam whispered.

Ivor didn't say anything, instead he looked at his father in disgust as he walked to the fields.

Hermia screeched as Ivor approached.

" careful prince, she doesn't seem to like you and I might be fully activated hybrid as we ride you know because I have to control her well so she doesn't flip you off" I said as I laughed.

" you think that's funny, my spirit will haunt you when I die" he said jokingly as he climbed on Hermia's back.

" hold on tight" I said

" to where?" he asked as Hermia began to flag her wings to fly.

He held on to my waist . I felt a shock , butterflies in my stomach. I pinched myself and I activated both my powers . our journey began.

we got to Pesteracia in two minutes. The prince was quite amazed. as we flew over Pesteracia I saw Quila, my ice dragon screeching in her chains. She missed me. Then I saw my mother at the rooftop of the palace. She waved me . I kind of felt an emotion there

" why didn't you wave back? " Ivor asked

" no reason... but my mother and I don't have a normal mother- daughter relationship" I said.

"we'll cross the first sea in no time and we'll be in Alivea in thirty minutes at this rate " Ivor said.

" shut up prince and let me focus " I said

" ohh sorry... yeah focus " he said.

I didn't actually mean that , it was my hybrid side. I wish I could tell him , he felt hurt. We got to the first sea . Hermia flew down to touch the water. She loved it.

Hermia sprinkled water on Ivor and I. Ivor laughed. His mood had changed.

As we were down on the sea, an arrow approached Hermia. Ivor used his powers to burn it to ashes before it got to her

" what was that?" I said angrily

" probably a hunter " Ivor said.

The arrow was a gravel made arrow

" we've arrived the earth kingdom, Deskta." I said.

I heard from the stories my mother told me that the earthlings were very dangerous and if they see a threat to their Kingdom they would eliminate it at all costs .

They were obviously threatened by Hermia. but they won't be able to stop me.

As we flew across the kingdom more arrows approached us. I got angry and I sent a heavy rain to their Kingdom so they won't be able to shoot far . Unfortunately one got to Ivor , his leg . He screamed.

" ohh no....." I said.

I landed Hermia. We were a few kilometers from Deskta . I had to tend to his wound.

" we are close to Alivea my brother has good healers there" . Ivor said

" you won't make it, earthlings always poison their arrows, the poison could spread" I said

" try to burn the wound with your powers" I said.

" I can't use my powers once my leg or hand is wounded" he said.

It was then the training my mother gave me kicked in. The conjuring training.

" look Ivor I'll have to kill you for a moment" I said.

" kill? " he asked

" you won't die ..... actually you will but I'll revive you, once I make contact with your lips my ice will spread through your body and you'll freeze and die for some minutes and before the frost gets to your heart I'll conjure your fire powers and burn your wound then the fire would melt all the ice in you and you'll be back to life" I said

" that's not so good....how do you make contact with my lips?" he asked

" I'd have to kiss you "

" umm....ok it's just for my life right.....get it over with " he said

I kissed him, I summoned a lot of ice energy with the kiss . In a minute he was dead. i quickly tried to conjure his remaining fire from his heart. it wasn't working.

" what have I done?" I asked myself as tears dropped from my eyes.

I tried over and over again, I was filled with emotions, then my eyes turned red I felt his fire powers. it was overwhelming having to control three powers at once . I quickly burnt the wound and his body became warm again. His eyes opened and he took a deep breath.

" so...did you go to hell ....that's what I suspect" I said jokingly

" there was nothing..... just darkness..... don't do that again" he said.

" I'll do it again to save you....I thought I lost you" I said as I hugged him.

He didn't say anything. He just embraced me too.

"I'm sorry....I overstepped.....but you weren't responding so I thought I killed you" I said

" you can't kill the fire king" he said

" ohh please....in just a minute you were as cold as ice, fire king" . I said.

"forget that princess and don't tell anyone about all this we'd be in trouble" he said.

" of course not I used forbidden magic so I dare not tell anyone " I said.

Ivor looked at me in confusion.

" what do you mean forbidden magic?" he asked.

" I'm not going to answer that so hop on my dragon let's get to Alivea"

I helped him up and took control of Hermia, in another twenty minutes we arrived Alivea.i landed Hermia on their palace fields and sent her back to fly to Pesteracia. I sent her very high in the sky so no arrows could reach her.

Alivea was magnificent. Ivor's brother and his wife stood in front of their palace to welcome us. He had a striking resemblance to Ivor .

" welcome to Alivea princess Aleera my sister, letters of your beauty didn't do you justice" . Ivor's brother said .

" thank you " I said.

" Meet my twin brother, Ivan Grimwall, King of Alivea" Ivor said.

Twin?, king? what more did Ivor keep to my suprise.
