The Connection (She is mine)

The young Marquess could never understand in his 18 years of knowing her that why he can never feel connection with the most beautiful princess of kingdom even though she always craved for his attention.

The 10 year old Marquess was afraid to get close to her as he always felt it was not right. When he turned 13 he was so happy that he will be assigned as a royal protector. It didn't amuse him when he found that he is assigned to the youngest princess.

The fact that he despised was the person he wants to stay away from is the one whom he has to protect his whole life. He never looked in her eyes whenever they interacted during the literary competitions. It never concerned him whether she was a spoiled princess or an elegant one.

He always wanted to find a reason to stay away from her. He just never felt anything toward her but responsibility. He even asked the favor from his twin Eric to replace him. He even lied to him that he hates her but the reality was he never had place for her in his heart there were no feelings for her.

However an uninviting urge to protect her always made him restless. He would never want to see her hurt. He for the first time felt bad when he saw her eavesdropping as he purposely lied to Eric that he hates her.

He knew that her craziness will get her into trouble and it happened. He always saw her getting bullied by the queen, but he had no audacity to take step for her. This time it was too much for him to handle when queen ordered to punish her.

He took the punishment in place of her, but he never knew that mere attraction of princess toward him will become something bigger. That day when he was flogged in place of her, It was not only her who realized that she fell for him but it was him too who saw her craze for him in her eyes.

When she was locked in her palace, he begged his father to send him to borders as he didnt wanted to hurt her by rejecting her. He just wanted to avoid her. This all was witnessed by his best friend Addam, who always pushed him towards her.

He ruthlessly rejected her and thought she might change after I leave. It was the middle of the 3rd year since he left the capital and trained himself harder. One day he suddenly woke up from his sleep as he saw a dream where a women had blue bow in her hands, her face was covered. He couldn't clearly see her. She valiantly fought against an army beside him. She addressed him as General.

His friend Addam looked him with concern as he spoke sternly, "I have decided what I want in my life ?" Addam looked confused at his words when he again spoke, "I need this world to get my world."

He fell in love with the women in his dreams. It made him work harder and harder and like this he became the youngest General of the army of Black's clan. He was cold and fearless. He won every war. His name spread to far places. He was becoming a legend famous as The Cold General Black. He would even win wars for other kingdoms far from Menoran.

Now he was 18 he achieved the glory but not the peace of his heart, as he searched for the women in his dreams everywhere in every kingdom. His heart ached when he received the royal decree of marriage with the youngest princess.

The thing he feared just happened as he was angry that he told her not to think about him but she messed everything. He was helpless as he could not make king angry by rejecting the proposal.

He had to marry her unwillingly, he hated her for the first time. This feeling arose in his heart as she took the place which was supposed to be of the woman whom he saw in his dream.

He insulted her badly on their wedding night without thinking about her feelings and thought to never return to the Capital. However things started to change when Addam who was now his Commander always pushed him to think about the princess.

Time passed the mansion of General Arron Black and princess Aella was ready, yet she waited for him to comeback. She wrote many letters to him but he never replied. He was angry so he became even more cold towards her.

The more he wanted to stay away from her the more Addam would bring news about her. He felt pity for her as she named the palace which was supposed to be their home, but she lived there alone, "The autumn palace"

Commander on purpose asked General, "I dont understand General why Princess named it autumn palace ?" The General coldly spoke, "when someone, longs for love and and never get responded back the heart that blooms like flower starts to turn barren. She named it the autumn palace as her hopes are now barren."

Commander tried to make him understand that she needs him but he always ignored it as he was restless to find the women who continuously appeared in his dreams. He always felt bad about Princess when she was bullied by her siblings because of him. He knew how Eric teased her. He knew how she changed herself.

Time passed and suddenly the border was no more peaceful there were wars recently. Princess stopped writing letters to him. It made him wonder "Did she move on ?" When he got the letter from Azaarius that made his blood boiled in anger. He knew the politics of palace and the news of Aella never reacting on his name too.

Unknowingly a fear arose in his heart that she might be sent to Azaarius for the sake of peace. He was determined to keep her safe at any cost. The news of her falling ill made him even more restless.

He not only decided to return to Capital but also take care of her as his responsibility. He had a week till the army of Azaarius reach Menoran, so he wanted to reach her and make her feel safe.

Little did he knew that the connection he never felt is the connection that will attack directly his heart. As he reached the autumn palace his heartbeat increased, unknowingly his eyes searched for her eagerly.

When he held her, he forgot that he wanted to avoid her or protect her as a responsibility. Holding her for the first time in his arms made him determined on a decision he never thought of.

The decision to claim her as his wife. The decision to destroy every evil eye who look at her. The decision to kill every single person mercilessly who dared to take her away from him. He decided at that moment that he will no more reject her.

Commander Addam felt that heat and teased him "It seems like you still have no connection with her." When General smirked and replied, "No Addam, it seems like every connection is with her now."

Commander repiled back, "I think you are late, she seems angry. Look at the way she pushed you and ran away." The General still had eyes on the path she left from when he replied, "Don't worry I have decided I will make it up to her"

The Commander was cheering in victory clinging on to his friend, while saying, "At last you realized it." While he stood there in silence thinking, "Yes I realized it, she is mine."
